www.SportbikeWrench.com 2008 Ducati 1098S Suspension Evaluation w/ Dave Moss of Catalyst Reaction Suspension. If you bought this motorcycle, would the stock springs be right for you?
Dave, what would you recommend as the optimal rider sag numbers front and rear? I always thought 40mm front, 30mm rear was optimal... Thanks! Love your videos!!
Dave - you mentioned that average sag should be 35-40mm. Is that for track or for street? The 1098S rear was 18mm sag but they are infamous for being difficult to turn in the bike. Would softening the rear spring to achieve a 35-40mm sag result in the bike being even more difficult to turn-in? Thank you.
Okay so let me get this straight first I buy the $25,000 motorcycle. then if I'm a girl I have to take it into the nearest dukati dealership spend around 2500 dollars and have the front and rear shocks have a different spring put in. you gotta be f****** kidding me that's insane. that's like stupid.how about you think of something else that doesn't entail a female having to take her bike in and then dump another 2500 dollars into a brand spanking new motorcycle. and just to ride the thing. I can understand that if you're going to race it. but if you're just going to street ride it that's f****** insane.
