In this video you will be watching of how to diagnose and fix an Evap code [P2422] for 08 Honda Fit.Unfurtunately i dont have a bi directional scanner to open and close the solenoid while my smoke machine is connected but still this diagnostic proves me that theres is no clogged on the canister and vent solenoid as well..i did test drive the car and the code didint came back anymore ill keep you update if ever it will back ....

Can cleaning these out make them work? I read that spiders make blockages inside them.

That incident is very rear to happen cuz gas fumes goes out out on the vent valve watch my latest video about vent solenoid i did show the one more procedure of how to diagnose and fix a car with that code

check the solenoid by giving 12v power if u hear click then solenoid is good after that check the wiring . ecm gives control to the solenoid to closed so u need a bi directional scanner to control the solenoid by turning closed and open while ur smoke machine is connected on to ur purge solenoid line and u can see the smoke to come out and to be block
