the funniest part of this video besides the whole aaron rodgers questions is the fact that the 7th round pick was also a QB. his name was matt flynn, who btw is the most anticipated qb for this FA class (baring brees staying), is the backup now. LOL, he couldn't even beat out the 7th rnd pick. Which they would've taken jamal charles instead. Brohm didn't last more than one year on the active roster.

Just can't believe they actually thought Brohm's upside was higher. How did nobody notice that Rodgers had a cannon of an arm and ridiculous accuracy? That alone gave him the higher upside from a physical standpoint

I think Brohm will win this QB battle. Rodgers just doesn't have the skill set to perform at the NFL level. He will never be a consistent starter and will struggle to break a 80 QB rating. He'll never make a pro bowl, win a super bowl, or throw for more than 4000 yards in a season. If he ever throws more than 30 TDs, I'll eat my shoe. Oh wait...

I think Brohm's decision to stay in college under Kragthorpe really hurt him as a prospect and as a player. He could've been the number one pick in the previous draft. go back and look at the stats from the transition years from Petrino to Kragthorpe and you'll see that basically every returning player had a huge drop off in stats. He would've been a better player had he entered the draft one year earlier.

To many people Brohm was better coming out of college. He had all the tools and was very highly regarded. People shouldn't forget that a 21 year old is much much different than who they are going to be at 25, 26, and so on. Aaron Rodgers got better and better, more mature and smart, and really developed into a premier QB. Brohm didn't grow at all, and all those weaknesses not corrected were exposed in the NFL

And this was a good front office that took Brohm, John Schneider (Seahawk's current GM), Reggie McKenzie (raiders), John Dorsey (chiefs), and Ted Thompson. Just goes to show how much a crap shoot the draft is.

Not only did Aaron Rodgers beat Brohm for the starting job, Matt Flynn (7th rounder that same year) beat him for the backup job. And he's failed to win a starting job with the Buffalo Bills. Quality QB right there.

Stats for all 3 QB's since 2008 Rodgers: (1346-2054, 65.5%, 17037 Yards, 131 TD, 37 INT, 105.0 Rate) Flynn: (82-132, 62.1%, 1015 Yards, 9 TD, 5 INT, 92.8 Rate) Brohm: (27-52, 51.9%, 252 Yards, 0 TD, 5 INT, 26.0 Rate) Yeah, Brohm sucks horribly, and these analysts should be ashamed for saying he will be the next starting QB for the Packers.

He might have been good in college, but he was a full blown bust in the pros. And you can't say he didn't have a prime opportunity to succeed in Green Bay, because that's exactly what he had under the guidance of McCarthy and Clements. Not only did he underperform expectations, he flat out couldn't play the pro game and couldn't learn to play the pro game.

I really can't believe these guys think that Brohm had more upside than Rodgers. Rodgers was a guy that had all the upside in the world coming out of college but had mechanics problems due to the Tedford factor. Brohm is a guy that was supposed to be a safe pick but lacked big upside. He was never going to be better than a servicable starter in the pros. Rodgers was scouted by some as 1st overall pick material. What are these clowns talking about? Rodgers ran a 4.7 and can hurl the ball 65 yards

So unquestionably these experts know more than the rest of us. From 06-08, I never heard anyone not tout Brohm as a long-term starting QB in the NFL.

GBPackersfan121, Favre didn't show Rodgers squat. He publicly stated that it wasn't his job to mentor Rodgers. Rodgers plays completely different. Brohm is not learning under Rodgers. He plays for the Bills now. The Packers gave up on him after one year and released him then signed him to the practice squad. The Bills then signed him to their roster. I get so tired of hearing how Rodgers is only good because he learned from Favre. When did Favre throw 30 TDs and fewer than 10 INTs in GB? Never.
