Elixir was the last Privilege 615 built at the original Privilege Marine yard.
She has been lightly used, never chartered, and has always had a professional captain onboard since new.

Hi My name is Mike Peraza and I am one of the three crew members (The other two where the frech delivery guys, one of them was Capt. Chistian excellent sailorman) who make the first travel all the way from France to Saint Marteen on Elixir. Actually I ived on Elixir for a month waiting and being trained by the engineers of Alliaura Marine before depparting from Les Sables D'Olone France and cross the Atlantic. this video is , first a nice surprise and at the same time move my fiber, watching after so many years this magnific piece of art still being a jewlery. I was moved while watching the whole walkaround. Ah, By the way, I design myself those angular teka pads on the bow to hide some imperfections on the fiberglass grip right on the factory. I wish to be able to sail and feel the salty breeze on my face on her flybridge again... Thanks Wiley , you made my day

Wiley I agree, Privilege builds a fine boat. I would love to take an extended cruise on her. My favorite cat for sure, and I wish my poor ass could afford to have one.

@@philandlyra3365 Actually, now that it's been released, I prefer the Serie 6 or the 615 to the new 580, especially a Master Suite. They've gone 'Leopard' and 'Lagoon' with the forward lounge area. Prefer to see that space used for interior space.

Actually, he sounded kind of hoarse, and coughing, so I assumed (and you could hear it 'clicking' that is was some kind of cough lozenge, since narrating the video can really wreak havoc on a sore throat.

Wiley, 'Sailing Yacht Ruby Rose' just did a walkthrough on the new 510, and I was surprised that there was actually very little headroom in the Master Suite. Unless I win the lottery, I'm not buying Elixir (although I think with a bit of haggling, I could get the price I'd want to pay if I did win), but as much as I love the Master Suites on the Privilige yachts, I've got to have the headroom for my 6' frame. On the 615, how high is the headroom at the foot of the berth?

I'm not a sailor yet.... I would think this wouldn't be a good boat for long crossings... the helm is up and accessed by outboard steps... the helms are also open to the elements in rough water sailing. Am I missing something?

The nice thing about this is that if you have the million dollars or so to purchase the boat, you probably also have the $25-35,000 to have a custom hardtop built for her. In fact, I don't like the concept of her helm stations being open, either, and I have a concept in the back of my mind for a hardtop that actually opens up over the edge of the yacht when at anchor that also holds a huge array of solar panels. A boat like this pulls a lot of power, and she should have a LiFePo4 House Battery bank, and at least 1,500watts of solar panel, so it's more than a trickle charge. In fact, I would like to see between 2,500 and 3,000 watts of solar, if that was possible. I'd also like to see a ParaSailor in place of, or as an option to the Code 0.

Listed on YachtWorld, $1,2M, not for sale to U.S. residents while in U.S. waters. IOW, the owner puts the boat up for sale in U.S. waters, doesn't pay the $25,000 or so in duty taxes on it, and then expects a buyer. Doh! As nice as the yacht is, he needs to pay the duty on it, and drop the price to a cool Mil!
