I've popped my LEFT ear drum (exhaust on right side) with a stock exhaust R6 before while getting on the freeway...with a nice Arai helmet covering them too.. I cannot even imagine this thing
My old gsxr came with a voodoo shorty exhaust. Was so loud i had to swap it out in the first week with a full yoshi can. My right ear has had a ring ever since and that was 4 years ago!
Can’t wait till I get my ECU flashed! I’ll be sending it in this week. Got the black widow exhaust header and hotbodies silencer with a k&n air filter for my 2018 gsx-s1000f. Bye bye emissions 👋🏻
Good gains,loudness didn’t bother me but the tone sounded wimpy.back in the early mid 80’s ran Kerker and Vance&Hines sindwinders just had to watch the right turns.🏍🇺🇸👍
Hey Chris great vids as usual , I have a k6 1000, I sometimes get a no start, no fuel pump prime, and secondary butterflies shivering, just seen a video of a gsxr600 where you’d flashed the bike, the guy commented that you had sorted the problem for him but didn’t specify what the problem was, my problem may be unrelated but would be interested to hear what you found!? Best suzuki power gains I have seen have been tuned from the headers not from a probe down the exhaust where all 4 cylinder gases mix to create an in accurate fuel air fix. Saves two cylinders running lean and the other two running rich. But the tuner thinks everything is good.
I have this exhaust on my k7 gsxr 1000 annoyingly loud. Great at low rpm not so much in high rpm. I love how this exhaust keeps people from riding with me.
I got a 09’ GSXR600 I just have a Slip-on and been wanting to Cat-delete… are there any benefits to a Cat-Delete? I also want the ECU Flash to run cooler temperatures… but not sure the benefits if any doing a Cat-delete.
I bought a 08 gsxr 600 w a full titanium two brothers exhaust and shorty pipe w baffle in it also has a pwr cmndr 5. Does 6hp really make a big difference for top end speed or should I just keep as is
how much is an ecu flash and what is turn around time i have the same bike with a vans and hines exhaust and thats it stock cat atm still has the exhaust butterfly hooked up yadda yadda, and what would be more beneifiical for max power, removing the cat and butterfly how about those secondary throttle plates heard you talking about that in another video.
Chris or anyone else, I just bought the 2021 anniversary gsxr600. I have been riding a 2018 cbr500 for putting around town. Anyway this new mike is like a rocket ship, I like the stock sound and everything about it. Can it still be flashed in stock form? And would it be worth the small gains?

If I still owned a bike, I would’ve shipped it to you for tuning. My former tuner Mike Velasco tuned all of my bikes, 97 ZX6-R 110hp, 01 Yamaha Banshee 68hp and 06 R 176hp.

With my 750 in the Woolich software it only shows stp opening up to 11600rpm and so it can’t be adjusted in the higher Rev range. Why would this be? Is my bike restricted?
I hope you sorted your jetting if it's a carb model or you can kiss your ass goodbye to that engine wayyyy sooner. I took my stock muffler off as I'm building quite a special 2000 carb model SRAD and it sounded like an 80s formula 1 car, makes the bike run way too lean though and u loose a tonne of power. I'm fixing to fit a carbon yoshi rs3 cut down a little and jetted. Bike is having a complete strip down and rebuild, every nut bolt and washer that's needed will be changed. Custom one off fairings being painted as I type this. Gold upside down forks with brembo calipers, new hell lines, yoshimura rear sets, too much to list....Only 2600 miles from new. Had it off a family friend for a steal. May post a video walk around once it's all back together...gunna have the worx as its gunna be a keeper with that mileage😏🙋🏼♂️
I bet if he puts a real exhaust on that bike it will make wayyy more power, Jardine sells a nice muffler for that bike,that straight pipe is trash...jus my opinion
I pulled the packing out of my old Yosh exhaust on a 1998 YZF 600R. I had a lot of work done to the bike. Heads, full exhaust, jetted, tuned. The bike was a rocket for a 600. I used to fuck R1's up all the time. But it was stupid loud like this. Shot flames out of the pipe on deceleration and rev limiter, so that was cool. Lol
I hate straight pipe bikes. Sounds trash, annoying, and does nothing for the performance. I guess that’s what’s desirable when you only wanna spend $200 on an “exhaust” though 🤷🏻♂️
Without downing any Dyno tune pulls, can you do a complete unrestricted ECU flash????? Will do the the Dyno at a later date. I did sent my out a couple of years ago but I’m not sure what was really done at that point so i need you to open it up for me please. What do you charge to do this Chris? I’m a long time member of your parts department from ordering parts and a new member to the MooreMafia clan with adding so decal to all my bikes.......help a brother out please.....lmao.... don’t hurt a long time customer and friend also was at an even here at MIR when a R Gadson crew came up and tried to peel my Moore Mafia decals. Don’t need to tell you the out come, it wasn’t pretty. All over a decal and who i support. It didn’t need to get to this but as they say shit happens...no puches were thrown but all the trash talking in the world did happen. One of the guys recognized who i was and told them i was a no nonsense type of people so they backed off lol. I'm bringing u 2 bikes 100% before winter hits possible 4. 04 cbr 1000rr hurricane. 2016 zx636. The other two are 2016 zx636 and a 2002 cbr f4i 600. Can u do all these bikes I know the Honda's are older. The 1k has a pc3 the f4i does not but needs the most adjusting
Hes dynoing for hps. Which is kinda useless for street. We need highest possible torque for the street especially under 7k revs. Same for the smoothness
105bhp??? Is that it??? 2008 I was getting 120bhp at the wheel with the k7 GSXR600.. How have you killed the bike so badly? The shit pipe will not have helped with power but 105bhp seriously????? I know mine was 120bhp at the wheel as the bike has to beat the MV Agusta 312 around the Nurburgring and the calculations said 120bhp was the minimum we needed..
