The car keeps just less than 4000 rpm at 200 km/h, it weights more than two tonnes ... This is why it burns more than 22l/100 km. But this car was not made for speed. Best is probably between 50 and 140 km/h because the engine is not struggling to keep that speed
Как то странно а на маленьких скоростях он назад салярку делать будет, у меня 2.5 при 100 литров 10 средний и наверно наглядный было-бы разгоняться, а так он просто катится, снижая скорость
probably because it is a heavy beast... try it with a Patrol GR3.0Di... it does 140-160max screaming RPMs. OK its not same type of vehicle but on other way as I have reading and watching Touareg is a very capable off-road
can it be chipped to be more economical? I am prospecting to buy one v6 TDI from 2008. I think its more economical then my last Patrol y61 3.0Di, also screaming at 3000 it goes only at 120kmh I usually don't drive more than 120... but loved to make at 2000rpm
@@vcostainternet They are really good, only watch and service gearbox when it’s time. Also some basic faults on dashboard, for that year. It is tank on the road but when stage 1 it eats the road.
Veduci57 tonns don't consume. Head wind consumes! Its V6 could work a couple of times less rpm to reduce its own consupmtion! It is able to push the car at just 800-1000rpm, reducing its own inner frictions.
For our country (Kazakhstan) it's not so good consumption. Diesel is more expensive than gasoline. For 1000km this diesel spend ~100L × 194(price in our currency) = 19400 tenge. My gasoline infiniti fx35 (approx 13L/100km) spend ~130L × 145 = 18850 tenge. Winter diesel will even be more expensive. Servicing diesel also needs more money. So why do people buy diesel?!
Skoro 2500 kg sa gorivom i jednim putnikom,225 konjskih snaga,3.0 litara V6 motor,automatik,4x4 pogon,aerodinamika kao ormar....i ti očekuješ 5 litara potrošnju?
