Cutler is alright when he tries he's been in 2 nfc championship games 1 game away from the Superbowl the problem with Jay Cutler is he just doesn't care
@@terencejones4057 probably got paid to blow the game or he knows it's rigged that's why he didn't give a fuck weird shit happens in the playoffs speacialy for Tom Brady all of sudden the corners play 10 yards off and give Brady easy yardage
I completely forgot that Tashard Choice was taking over for Marion "The Barbarian" Barber III in this game. I remember watching this game as if it were literally yesterday, as well... R.I.P., Marion "The Barbarian" Barber III.
Absolutely nobody ever talks about that they are actually the Super Bowl champion with the hardest regular season schedule ever and and don't even get me started on that conference Championship game against the Ravens which to me was one of the most brutal Conference Championship Games I've ever witnessed since I've been watching football now spur over 40 years kind of reminded me of the 1990 NFC championship between the 49ers and the Giants
Of course I didn't watch the 1990 NFC Championship I was too busy being homeless at the time but I do I have watched the film's in the documentaries and all that and that game between the 49ers that was actually the game Joe Montana's last game with the 49ers and that was a monster of a game 49ers 49ers were still at their Peak they were and came in the big bad joints at the time the best defense in the NFL with Lawrence Taylor & Company Bill Belichick leaving that defense that was an incredible NFC Championship game that's the only game I can compare to that all weight AFC Championship game that my Steelers won
I remember watching this game at the Hooters restaurant in Springfield, Missouri. This game was a war. Look how young Tomlin looked back then. Come this season, this was 14 years ago and I can't believe it's been that long.
I actually do remember going to this game, I was in middle school and me and my mom took a few days off of work and school to go to this game and visit family in Pittsburgh.
This was a strange game because Dallas controlled 3 1/2 quarters but that Steelers D was so nasty and kept them in it until the offense picked it up. Dallas had 5 turnovers and a goal line stand…and still had a chance to win it.
I remember watching this game & thinking to myself this: 🎶"Not-so-happy birthday, dear Terrell Owens...".🎶. I'm a Dallas Cowboys fan & I couldn't help but notice that Terrell Owens wasn't having one of his best games on this day...
Gary Anderson was one of the best ever kickers! He made a good number of their victories with his accurate kicking time after time. I love the Steelers since Bradshaw and on. I wish they would have beaten the game XLV with the Packers and one S.B. they lost in later 90's to Dallas. I'd love to see Pittsburgh shoot to 10 wins in S.B. and stay ahead forever...they are a team that gives it all they possibly can.
Statistically the Steelers 2008 defense beat the Ravens 2000 defense in every category. They also played against better opponents based on the previous season
Incorrect. The 2000 Ravens still have the record for the fewest points allowed in a 16-game season, and they allowed less than 1,000 rushing yards and less than 3 yards per carry. Also allowed fewer points and plays per drive, and had a lower scoring percentage against. Look it up.
The ages of the defensive starters when this game took place and their ages as of today : Aaron Smith 32, today 42...Casey Hamoton 31, today 41...Brett Keisel 30, today 40...Woodley 24, today 34...Farrior 33, today 44....Foote 28, today 38.....Harrison 30, today 40....Taylor 28, today 38....Polumalu 27, today 37....Clark 29, today 39....McFadden 27, today 37
I was literally so frustrated after this game. We looked to be a lock at the time for a wild card spot at a solid 8-4 record. We finish 9-7 and miss the playoffs, letting Philly making it because they’re a half game better than us at 9-6-1. Such a bitter way to end the season😭
A Super Bowl caliber team ruined by injuries(Romo,Roy Williams, Greg Ellis, kosier) , toxicity, and bad coaching. This and cardinals game were the toughest losses and changed the course of the season.
Bart Simpson- How/where, exactly do you find all of these games with no commercials & in their entirety, respectively?... Also, are these games in HD?...
win14ww- You were at this game???... For real?... Nice!... I bet it was a crazy afternoon. I was at home with my dad watching this game in our living room from my home-state of Illinois watching this game. I remember watching this game as if it were literally yesterday...
I'd love to see The Giants/Steelers game from 2008. Steelers snapped the punt out of the end zone, and we ended up wining 21-14, I believe. Giants/Steelers should've been SB XLIII
Yeah, they were the best teams in football that year. Though I think this time, it would go in the Steelers favor since the giants had a bit of a late season slump which included the incident with plaxico
Truly believe this underachieving Dallas team has a much different season if they win this game.....which they should have. Defense played their asses off......this was a great game. Would have been some super bowl few months later....but Arizona vs Pitt turned out pretty damn good
Steroids hadn't made players look like something inhumane and unhuman yet and yeah, no ones been paralyzed from a blow during a game yet a la Daryl Stingley/Dennis Byrd. Makes me grateful when James Farrior can get back up and🚶
I like a lot these two announcers for the game, Buck and Dallas' former quarterback Troy Aikman...I never figured out exactly what makes two great football announcers (or one with a supporting guy who helps make the play by play more informative and enjoyable,) but these two are the best. I don't care for the quarterback Chris Collinsworth who does it now (in 2021) because he just rambles on repeating himself with a very abrasive voice. I cannot recall the names but on Monday Night Football, years ago there was three guys announcing, commenting and the 3rd guy was a TX quarterback...I see him but cannot recall his name...one of the 3 was Frank Gifford and people loved that Monday Night game a lot because of those guys in the booth.
Yeah, that was frank, Al Michaels, and Dan dierdorf in a 3 man booth. They stayed until after the 2001 season. Frank retired, Michaels stayed on mnf with John madden, and dierdorf moved to cbs
Should have been Dallas and Pittsburgh in the Super Bowl. I remember this game really tough defensive game on both sides of the field. Pittsburgh only won because our defense was better. #1 Dallas still had a chance to win, but our defense prevailed I miss guggernot games like this defense wins championships loved this Era
@@readyreddd9925 BULLSHIT How many times has Dak fumbled deep in his own territory?????...he threw 13 ints to only 22 tds in 2017.....and yes romo turned it over ALOT his first 2 and a half years but he was among the best in the NFL following those seasons....here are his interception totals from 2009- on......9 ints 10 ints 19 ints ( thats alot) 10 ints 9 ints 4 of his last 5 years he had 10 or less interceptions, thats OUTSTANDING and Dak may not throw alot of Ints but he also doesnt NEARLY throw as many Touchdowns as Romo either. Ill take a guy who scores 30 consistently with a boo boo here and there over a guy who scores 9 points in every big road game. In Romos last full season he was 8-0 on the road including CLUTCH wins in Philly, New York, Chicago, and Washington take a seat, and thanks for playing
I was watching the Dal vs Pit game a couple of weeks ago.. I immediately thought of this game. Thinking if Romo played in 2016.. it might have happened again. Him trying to force a pass to his BFF Witten. But the Boys pulled it off and Blow-mo is glued to the bench were he belongs
When this game aired I was a huge Steelers fan, almost done with high school, and had no clue that professional sports are a completely fixed joke. It's fun to look back and see how obviously fixed old games were, when I had no clue at the time. The pick 6 by Romo with under two minutes left is so hilariously intentional. It's really bad.
I will say Aikman was kind to Romo. I'm sure there's things he would have liked to have said that he didn't. Also, aren't there a lot of Romo lovers who always blamed losses on their defense?
I as a kid only saw the end of this because my team was the other Fox game that day (the team the Steelers played in the super bowl that year) so once the cardinals game ended (forgot who they played but think they won) we saw the end of this classic
Around 2:11:37-2:12:01, I couldn't read Dan Rooney's lips, at all. What Joe Buck said around 2:11:47-2:11:56 was rather tough for me to see--especially because of the quality of this NFL game, but, maybe it's just me...
Please tell me you have any of these 3 Games somewhere...... November 28th, 2004 - Bengals vs Browns: 106 - ?? September 16th, 2007: Bengals @ Browns: 96 Points - ?? September 28th, 2008: Cardinals @ Jets: 91 Points -??
78-49 isnt too bad, especially when you think about what he had for head coach, protection and lack of running game for most of his career... Not to mention the defense that was mostly very below average. He also has the most game-winning drives from 2006 to 2014
Yes, Romo did throw the interception that won the game for the Steelers, but he doesn't play defense...the Cowboys defense gave up 10 unanswered points to Pittsburgh to tie the game at 13 after being up 13-3
ChernobylPizza Yes, the Cowboys defense came thru and stopped Pittsburgh from scoring, but on their next possession, Pittsburgh drove down and scored the game tying touchdown.
