This vehicle took exactly 4 qts of fluid. After filling with fluid, run engine and put it in reverse and drive a few times and recheck the fluid level.
Finally someone that knows and explains well how to complete this procedure. All, please use Honda ATF fluid... also change the washer and torque it down. Thanks for the lesson on pouring out of the honda container.,..lesson I learned here.
Great info and the best part of your video was NO stupid background MUSIC playing like people THINK is needed to have a RU-vid video these days. Great job , Great garage , right to the POINT INFO ! Thanks brother.
Thanks! I have a video on this garage setup. We actually bought a brand new house a year ago, and I am just now getting it completely set up. I’ll shoot a video in a week or two. Keep an eye out for it.
Sounds like they didn’t put enough in. Check the fluid level with engine off. The lower dot is cold reading, the upper dot is hot reading. I personally like to check it cold, like first thing in the morning after it has sat overnight.
There is an inline looking filter in the trans cooler hose, below the radiator. I called my Honda dealer and they told me it’s not a filter. But read some of the comments, they say it is a filter. Call your dealer.
There is filter. It is outside the transmission and located top of it. Here the link for filter and location i.ebayimg.com/images/g/BcUAAOSwRlph81W7/s-l500.jpg
@@randytempleton5797 ...yes it is a filter Honda doesn't have a recommended filter change interval and say it's for the life of car? BS, look for videos that show how nasty those filters get, they look to be pretty easy to change too. Once you see a video or two you'll see they need to be changed...not as often as Tranny fluid but I'd say every other fluid change do the filter too.
Also I plan on adjusting the valves, air filter, cabin air filter, cleaning the MAF. When we have time. I changed the belt a year ago. FYI. The A/C compressor clutch coil failed about a year ago. Common problem and Honda has a long extended warranty on this. So if you ever had it replaced or ever needs replaced, keep that in mind.
