My car came with two keys, one did not work, I took back to dealer and got a new key, this could have been the issue with that key. But I have two keys now, so... Thank you!

when i insert my key in on c300 it says remove key from ignition.. i took my car to the mechanics and they said they have to replace ignition steering lock and steering column. and i have to pay $1 100 to fix. I wanted to do it myself but it is a lot of things and steps to do and i don't wanna mess my car up..

Hi I have a 2010 Mercedes Vito with intermittent key not been recognised, I’m I right in thinking if I use another Mercedes key not for my car and try it and always get the message key not recognised all the time that pretty much means the EIS is good and my key is the Issue, great videos 😊

Try this next time you have this problem hopefully you make a video out of it but put it in your reader writer as well Hopefully it will help some of your viewers out A quick test I do when a Mercedes comes with a no start is look for the infrared using my phone's camera Like any other repairs do a proper diagnosis ( like you said don't guess test first) Put this can help give you an idea to ask your customer right away if they have a second key Or help someone who stranded in a parking I met my girlfriend that way LOL She was stuck in Costco's parking lot I was there to pick up water for the shop and she seen me in my work uniform on and ask for help Just like you I seen nothing on the dash look for the infrared through my camera and asked if she had a second key She said yes it's at home a few minutes away I drove her home to pick it up When she got back to the car I showed her the infrared signal flashing through the camera she was very impressed LOL While I didn't gain her as a customer I got a girlfriend now 1 1/2 years together now So she no longer needs to pay for repairs LOL And if I ever need a lawyer I'm covered But I did get about 20 other customers of her family and friends😊

Hi my w204 c350 2010 starts in the morning when the engin is cold but when it's hit it just crank and wount start but if I put jumpers on it it starts if been to many people and every on tels me a other story dit replaced the glow plug module it was fault my obd picked it up

Hi, for this exact same vehicle I have a major issue 1 : after doing an online programing of the ecu and front and rear sam , it suddenly says hood sensor no com and back seat rest latch code comes on ( previously before the online programing no such issue and even the car hood doesn't seem to have Been equipped with any sensor for hood warning for my 2009 w204 ) 2: I try to activate the teach in drive authorization and when it gets to the part when it says start engine and allow to idle for 30secs , the Benz won't start until I turn the key back off and try to start it again before the engine will start which at this time the process fails , I'm using the launch immo elite , also launch pad vii and topdon phoenix plus , yet no success, please I really need your help

It's not easy to find info on Merc's period. However this guy know his S 4sure. Excellent info presended as best as you could hope for as this is not easy to understand more/less get across in a video what steps you're going thru in your head. Cheers, glad I found this channel. If I could impose for a question; remote appears dead, When inserted get nothing (don't hear servo for I assume is steering lock &/or shift) no cluster activation either. I am thinking power/fuse, but I am conserned about bunch of after market crap been installed/uninstalled (scotch locks) all about rig. Yeah, not good. Anyway, your thoughts would be fantastic. I have a 2010 MB C300 and with the same issue. The car doesn’t turn on. I insert the key and the dashboard pops up “remove key from ignition.” After several attempts in trying to start it, the dashboard changes to only show the mileage. After several attempts the car will eventually turn on but sometimes it takes hours. I only have one key for the car. What do you suggest I do? Thank you!

good analysis procedure, find out it is the Key cause not cranking, most mechanic suspect it is the ESL or ignition switch problem! (most mechanic would not open the key and check inside the part was lose or banned!)

@Super Mario Diagnostics I have the same Car/Model W204 mine was okay all the way although it didnt Crank at all Then the Tech came and all he did was reInsert the Relays and Fuses in the Front Fuse Box and Reset ECU and it started again. No faults prior and after. What could be the problem? He is hinting thay it could be with the Front Consumer inside the Fuse Box itself that it might have gotten moisture.

Hey Mario my Mercedes S500 2003 key works when I stick it into the car ignition the clusters respond all the lights and radios work still no crank took it to a shop and they said it was ECM computer AFTER A RAIN STORM and drains were clogged.......any thoughts

Super mario , why does my starter fuse keeps popping, no crank

Hi there I have a issue with my Mercedes clc cdi 220 2009. When I turn the key full turn to start the car all lights come on and the needles all move up and drop back down again but the car will not crank, I then turn the key back to position 1 then turn to position 2 leave for a few seconds the turn all the way and the car starts. If I'm in traffic crawling sometimes the car cuts out I have had 4 different mechanics do diagnostics and had the crankshaft sensor changes ,I've had the key and switch checked and tested and all is fine. I have spent around £400 so far trying to get to the bottom of this issue but no mechanic can seem to fi d out what the problem is and its getting frustrating now. Have you got experience with these cars and do you do full checks to what can cause a issue like this?

Obviously you've seen this problem before, which is a big plus for your diagnosis. Without the info in front of me, I did somewhat understand your path of diagnostics and how the "start" signal flows from the key to the starter. Would a wiring diagram and/or service information have helped to locate the problem? Or did you take the time on your own to figure out how the system functioned?

Good day, is the ignition not supposed to be on for you to able to scan, how do you scan when the ignition is off?

My new to me 99 W210 had intermittent no crank no start. Luckily, it was not DAS related. Turns out K40 relay control module was bad. Swapped out the complete unit. Should have tried swapping starter relay first but the complete K40 was $25 from the junkyard so in it went. My TCM had fluid wick. Any fluid on the connector means there is some inside the module. I opened my TCM and cleaned PCB and case. Plastic harness connector in transmission is not sealing and has to be changed.

My Benz just did this the other day, was running fine, shut it off and it wouldn’t start after, so I bought a battery and changed it out, and still no start everything comes alive when I put the key in but won’t turn over when I turn the key, any pointers ? Everything was fine before I shut it off , and it wouldn’t start again after

Im having a similar issue with an 09 c300. The dash lights don’t come on. I can get the car to start and run. While driving all the dash lights and radio will shut off and come back on. Did find water on the driver side floor so I’m guessing one of the drains are clogged.

Hey was up Mario , could you have inserted a random Benz key into the slot to verify Ezs system was reading and borrow it down to just a dead key ? Usually you'll get like a wrong key message on the dash right ? Good video, I was just thinking how I would tackle this without the autel immo tool .
