www.maptunparts.com/exhaust-systems/jt-3 I would highly recommend buying from these guys. They know what they are doing when it comes to saabs. It is most definitely worth the extra money so you don't have to fuss with the issues I experienced
I bought the dna motoring exhaust for my 9-3 knowing the issue was probably going to happen with the flange, I bolted the front pipe in first and it lined up perfectly without issue. However I ordered an ultra quiet zzp 15” resonator because this thing just makes my car sound like a civic that has turbo sounds
Damn brilliant car sir. Absolutely gorgeous. Love the color, the kit, the spoiler, exhaust. All around Absolutely someone's wet dream lol. Good shit mate.
Do you still have it, I'm sorry I never responded, that whole car is so great, trying to convince my female to buy a SAAB and I will send this to her soon. I would trade my 2012 9⁵ for that car honestly.
@@ttroygotknife big job. Make sure to change the timing chain, guides and thermostat since your gonna do the water pump. Use the GM tool to hold the sprocket in place for the w/p. Good luck!
Is it bolted to the catalytic converter? Or what is the thing with the 02 sensor right off the the turbo that your bolted too? And was what the thing that looks like a catalytic converter that you took off ?
Have you ever started the car with the piping removed? I wanted to know if it’s much louder with no piping. And also if you’ve driven it with only the down pipe installed. Would you get a performance boost or it’s worst cause there’s almost no back pressure?
I own a 2003 Saab 9-3 and I have the exact same exhaust on my car have you noticed any troubles with your Saab ever since u have had it put on? Because my Saab has been idling weird and loosing back pressure ever since I have had it put on there was one time that it was pulsing when I was in drive and had my foot on the brake and it just died I was thinking it’s my injectors but I wouldn’t be opposed to getting a second opinion
its possible that you are just having a misfire from spark plugs going bad. Before you do anything drastic I would swap those puppies out for some NGKs and see if it makes a difference. It is also possible that the increase in power (even though slight it still may have am effect) from the exhaust may be telling your ECU that it needs to inject more fuel and if the injector(s) is going out then perhaps it may not be able to supply the sufficient amount of fuel. That one is a stretch tho. Try new spark plugs first, it will be cheap too
I bought the same exhaust. All three bolt lined up perfectly but the muffler is the biggest piece of crap after a week it started rattling because the pipes inside the muffler fell apart at the welds
I have a 2007 Saab 9-3 and I was looking at this eBay kit too. The 200$ ones. I am worried the header won’t fit like how it doesn’t on your car. I have no experience with welding so I really want it to be a bolt/on/off experience. Will this fit?
no this will not fit. You will have to weld on a new flange. The cheap ebay parts don't have the correct flange. Theres physically no way to make it fit.
I got an 09 from an old man with 140k now its at 160k. After pushing it hard its leaking from head gasket and other parts. Seems fine apart from electrical stuff
get an ODB reader off amazon. They have bluetooth ones that connect to your phone. it reads diagnostic codes and even lets you clear your temporary fault codes. its probably like 25-50$ but it could be anything dude. this will at least help identify the issue
Vincent DeCenso hey did your tail light come with the car or can I buy them? Also where did you get your rims from? I think your Saab might be my favorite I’ve seen
So I would not recommend buying this exhaust. the welds inside the muffler are cheap. They rusted out in a week causing a lot of rattling. I have another video explaining how I fixed it if youre interested
@@vincentdecenso3277 I saw that video and I still decided to buy it expecting to have to replace it. It's been about a week and a half and it's still good
check out my updated exhaust video for more information on this, but yes the drone is quite loud on the highway. Although the new 4 inch tip made it a deeper drone and hence a little bit less noticable
VORS TR4s in black chrome, check out their instagram @vorswheels. I stumbled across the company on there and quickly became very happy with the quality
they are actually just those ebay flares. I got 2" fiberglass universal flares. I then just cut them to shape and painted them black. Eventually they will be paint matched but I may mess with larger flares here soon. possibly a new video to come as well for that
Also I just got rid of my old 320 E46 manual with a resonator delete system (put a HKS twin tip exhaust) and it sounded like a EVO. The guy I went to drop off the car for thought it had a 4G swap🤣🤣🤣
