05 Tacoma no power getting to the blower itself, I found the wires short circuited at the blower, but the blower itself still works, I swapped control panels with one from another working truck and vise versa and they both work as they should,
My high blower setting puts out only a little air. I checked both the fuse and relay you suggested and they both were good. Tried two blower motors and both are the same. Any other suggestions? How about the switch itself?
@@AbrahamForJesus Mine ended up being corrosion at the back of the switch. Took the switch panel off and scraped best I could and sprayed with electronic cleaner.
My 10 amp under hood is good. I just replaced my blower motor resistor because it only worked on the highest setting and not the lower settings. New resistor looks nothing like the old one as far as the part that goes into the slot. But now I still have the same problem. Only high works, no others. Does this mean my blower motor itself is faulty? Also cleaned out my cabin air filter, and there is no debris in the blower motor itself. Thank you for your time!
How should i go by troubleshooting my a/c problem ok i had a problem with my blend door actuator which i was putting off on replacing i kept using my a/c on high and if i felt like it was to cold i would just give the blend door actuator a light tap and all my blowing levels would work for a short time until it goes back to the doors clicking and back to only high settings would work but recently i have no power to my a/c button but fan still blows but doesn’t get cold it smelled like something was burning and it went away sorry about if i haven’t explained it to well im just learning as i go any help would be greatly appreciated. A hui ho 🤙🏽
How does one safely pull out the gray AC Mag Clutch? My 2011 AC stopped working to trying to narrow down the problem. When I turn on the AC I get nada. No fan blowing cool air into can, nothing happens at all. TIA
My problem is.. I push the A/C button to try to turn it off but the light won’t turn off AND I adjust the dial to HOT and it still blows Ice cold… 2011 Toyota Tacoma v-6. Any tips? I’ve never seen a problem like this. Thank you
I have an 07 Tacoma prerunner and the ac blows cold but when I idle for awhile, it'll start blowing warm. But when I drive again, it blows cold again. It seems like it started acting up after I recharged but I followed the instructions on the recharge kit according to free on amount. Im thinking AC condenser relay maybe going bad?
Mine working but sometimes had t0 bang on the dash for it to start blowing and come on now has stopped working all together the heater won't even work now
Hi Lehew. I checked out the items you suggested. Blower doesn't work on any speed. All fuses checked and relay swapped. (Lights work). Blower motor does not operate. Usually before the blower motor quits working, the motor will get noisy because of the bearings going bad. That hasn't happened. Any suggestions?
@@LehewTech Thanks. I'll Check that. Oddly earlier today, the fan worked for a short while. I had shut off the truck running an errand and starting back up the fan didn't work. Possibly a loose connector. Will let you know what I find. Thx for pointing out something that should have been obvious to an OT gear head. :D
@@LehewTech Power to the blower motor connector. The connector simply worked a little loose. I'll have to check it out a bit closer to see if either the contacts need cleaning or if the connector itself is wearing. It wasn't loose, I just needed to snug it a tad. Thx again for your help! PS...blower motor was replaced last year so the tech may not have fully attached the connector.
If the fan works only in high speed the blower motor resistor is likely bad. Check out this video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-SmDTE17j62I.html
@@joshmansolillo1831 I figured it out. The heater relay was stuck in the on position. Pull it out and the blower should go off. If so, replace the relay. You could also see if it will work properly with the dimmer relay.
AC doesn't blow out cold air goes right to hot. Have to turn the switch from hot to cold multiple times .. is there a fuse for this issue that I can replace ? Btw, it's a 06 Toyota Tacoma
