Oh my goodness!! We've had an email discussion about my 15-91 stitch issues. I thought it was fixed, but not. So just 2 days ago I took off needle bar thread guide and STRUGGLED getting it back together. Now here u r showing me how it should be done!! I'm going to recheck it to make sure I have it right! As always great help! 🥰
The ones in the video (the brass with the steel inserts) were a gift. McMaster Carr has some nice ones on their website (the ones that look like screwdrivers are real nice, I also have, but am not a fan of, their tight clearance ones): www.mcmaster.com/catalog/130/3228/5690A24 The most useful to me are: www.mcmaster.com/5690A21 www.mcmaster.com/5690A25 www.mcmaster.com/5690A17 www.mcmaster.com/5690A24
Thank you for this video! Though I have the manuals, I love learning by watching. I have a 201-2 that I have hesitated to clean, now I think u will give it a go!
On 15 class machines, I measure bobbin case tension with a TOWA gauge, on 66 class, I pretty much go by balanced stitch, though I have a few other tricks up my sleeve...
