@@BestCarFixes I coded successfully used cas1 module to 2006 bmw 750li but still crank no start also couldn’t program new key I’m kind of lost I’m using Autel im608 the module was already installed before I got involved

Thank you so much for taking the time to make these videos, they are very helpful to people like me who are getting started in this, I have one question, How do you know which key type to choose, CAS3+ Semi Smart or Smart?? Vehicle I'm working on is a 2012 328i with Comfort Access, the CAS just Says CAS3, it's an All Keys Lost

You can do this by obd on these with Autel.

For adding key or all keys lost on cas3++ istap, why do we not write the information back to eeprom after making key?

He should. Select. EPROM or flash. One of them not both …and then. He should. Write back the file into the chip when he added the key

I was working on cas3++ and trying to add key, there is a message in my scanner saying that I need to backup the files and update the cas before adding key..these will require dashboard removal to get the cas module, is ther any way to do it through obd?
