2010 Ford Escape keyless entry code location 

I sold a 2010 Ford Escape that didn't come with the Key Code. The local Ford Dealer wanted $60 to get the code. We did exactly what this video showed and sure enough, it was there! It works...

Dude you rock besides needing the code this also showed me how easy it was to replace the light bulbs for the shifter indicator.

Thanks for the helpful video! My console was difficult to get out as it was covered in years of spilled but "cleaned up" soft drinks and coffee. Found it and worked perfectly. No tools needed except elbow grease and a plastic pry bar I use for laptops but a butter knife or multi tool will work

Awesome! No more keys locked in the car for my sister. 2010 Mercury Mariner. We used a screwdriver to pop the ends loose to pull it up.

I did this and it was so easy this info was great saved me $50.00 plus tax.. It only took about 5 Minutes. That was because I was cleaning it also. Now to find out where to get a extra key made.

Mine was really on good. Lightly pried up on two corners on very back towards back seat. Then pulled up like in the video and it came off very easily.

Hi All, We have 2012 Ford Escape Limited with NO code for the factory set keyless entry. After watching this informative video we followed the instructions, and we were able to get the code for the keyless entry! YEAH!!! Hints: 1. Follow his instructions. 2. Use a putty knife to remove the chrome trim piece (thinner than a butter knife). 3. Wear kitchen rubber gloves when pulling cup holder up & pull hard to remove the cup holder piece. It takes quite a lot of pulls! 4. Take a picture of the factory set code or have someone write it down. 5. Make sure the code works before you put all the pieces back together. 6. You can program your own code AFTER you have the factory set code, look in the owners manual to program your own code which hopefully you will remember. GET VIDEO, VERY INFORMATIVE! THANK YOU!!! P.S. My "hints" were a combination of the others comments below. Good Luck!

After searching The web for 20 minutes I came upon this video and this technique worked for my 2012 Ford limited. Thank you very much for posting this.

Ok this was doable for a girl. So key thing to add is Chrome plate doesn't have claw like snaps. It is more textured like zip tie and just lifts up and out..And right off. The black console did not lift up easily tried a gentle pry. Key lift spot is where console lifts up gentaly pop those two tabs on top up and the console lifts easily. Did not need to completely lift off because of electrical. Phone with camera flash got code. Bottom sticker. Upside down :D Went back together easily

This worked like a charm!!! I gave a little tug on my console and it popped right out. The numbers were exactly where you showed, and now I have my own code!!! Thank you so much for posting this......you saved me a lot of money!!!

Worked great , but instead of yanking on cupholder, the 2 points that hold the center console are at the highest points on each side of the storage console. Pry each side with a flathead screwdriver slow and even on each side. Comes up real easy

This is one of the best videos every recorded!!! I just purchased a used 2009 Ford Escape and the dealer didn't have the keyless code. I followed your instructions and BINGO!!! There it was and it worked perfectly! I used my phone to take a pic of the code and then zoomed in on it because it was too hard to see. Also, it took me awhile to pry the console off. It was in there TIGHT! I thought I broke it when it first popped out, but nope. Everything was fine! THANKS SO MUCH!!!

Figured that this feature could be extremely handy and like you I don't like to be restricted on my features. Once you demo'd how easy it is I'll definitely go ahead and do it today! Good job bro!
