By popular demand. Madden 12 cover boy Peyton Hillis goes off for 184 yards rushing and 2 TDs as the Browns, fresh off a win against the defending champ Saints, blow out the Patriots.
The 230 Rushing yards in THIS GAME is a huge part of it. Without this game he's a 900 yard rusher on a 5-11 team. Also, the 09-2010-12 Patriots defense is rebuilding; but still had the reputation of 01-06. Look Mark Sanchez Jets beat them 3 out of 5 times 09-10. When Bill has all 11 guys he needs, its Butt Fumble time.
RU-vid Highlights CERTAINLY helped. Aint nobody watching the 2010 Browns, live. RU-vid 2005 also made Reggie Bush USC a name we all knew; because overwhelmingly we didn't watch Saturday USC football blowouts either. Which were often prime time west coast so ended at 230AM. If up that late Sat nights you're either doing nightlife, or in bed with a woman, or a hopeless gamer, or a drug addict binging, but in all those cases you're prolly not watching college football.
@@WalterWhiteFootballSharing Peyton Hillis shared half of the load earlier that year when the Browns still had Jerome Harrison, and he barely played during week 17 so he could have had a lot more carries and production, the fact he rushed for over a thousand yards despite limited playing time is still impressive. Also, I don't know where you're getting the 230 rushing yards from because he only had 184. And he did a lot more outside of just this game that year. He had 4 other games in which he rushed for over 100 yards, including a performance at Baltimore where he rushed for 144 yards and averaged 6.5 yards per carry. Baltimore was ranked 5th in rushing defense that year, too.
@@WalterWhiteFootballSharing and I'm an Ohio state fan but still watched college football, went to clubs, slept with strippers and other women, not a gamer but smoked lots of weed and partying. I didnt have u tube consistently till 2012.
One of the strangest stretches in any year ever The Browns before their bye week had crushed the defending SB champion Saints 30-17 and then came out of their bye week and swatted us 34-14 in the middle of them going 5-11
That may be true but remember the 2008 Giants had a 11-1 start (that 1 loss was from the Browns) and were practically unstoppable before the collapse that came after Plaxico Buress shooting himself in the leg. They were arguably destined to repeat and Tom Brady being out for the season made it all the more likely especially how the Giants had beaten both Super Bowl contenders of that season which were the Steelers and the Cardinals.
Despite it being early on in the regular season, they were still defending champs at the time. But I suppose I see what you mean since at the time of that game no one would even have thought about the Giants getting the #1 seed by the end of the regular season.
Patriots were also 14-2 that season. Other loss was to the Jets. They won 45-3 the second time they met. And then lost to them again in the divisional round. Funny season indeed
@@steveclapper5424 You gotta wonder if he didn't have CTE would he have been a killer, it's ashamed what long term effects playing football can have on someone🤷♂️🤷♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
Hey man do you have any of the Packers games from the 2007 season, week 13 vs oakland, week 10 vs Carolina, week 9 vs Minnesota, or week 2 vs the Giants? Thanks again for the games you've already hooked me up with.
I gotta see how the heck the Browns found answers for the 2010 Number 1 Offense. It's a bad defense, 2010 Patriots were still rebuilding Bellichik's most important unit. The Offense was a miracle of lucky draft picks. Gronk never finished a season healthy in college, so was a low round pick. Hernandez wasn't large enough to block D ends as a traditional TE. Welker was a tiny WR coming in at the perfect time as NFL discovered smaller Wrs in the slot were deadly as the 3rd deep option and efficient chain movers shallow.
This was a losing season for the Browns but they showed moments of greatness . They beat all there Super Bowl champs from the last 3 years this season . Saints , Pitt and the Pats
Do you have Browns-Steelers 2014 when the Browns destroy the Steelers? Pretty much i just want to see the Browns win so any games that you have where they win will work.
MAN where is the clip when Billy Boy spit and it blew back and splattered all over himself ? I will never forget the look on his face he was so dejected. I thought it was at the end but I can not find it anywhere.
Piss poor Browns coaching and some injuries the following year and then never given a real opportunity again. Converted back to fullback and had multiple concussions.
Of course the Browns being the Browns… they fire their up and coming coach Mangini and bring in a new coach and GM who turn them Back into a dumpster fire.
Nah, you forgot Brandon Weeden which was crazy because Colt McCoy in my opinion was better and should've took over, and coincidentally Hoyer has played for both these teams
Cleveland has good history vs Boston sports. Cavs beat the celtics in the playoffs in 1992 4 games to 3. Bird's last game. Cavs beat the celtics in playoffs in 2015 4-0, 2017 4-0, and 2018 4-3. Indians beat the red sox in playoffs 3-1 in 1995, 3-1 in 1998 and 3-0 in 2016. browns beat pats in playoffs 20-13 in 1995.
bigblue999 Ok being shutout is worse your right and they had larger margin of victory as well. That was only one of two that year as well so surprising as heck too. Had to be early in the year that loss.
Those were the shit years for the pats from 2005 to 2013 and definitely after losing superbowl 42 cause of 18 wins and 1 giant loss then Brady getting hurt in the 2008 season opener and still going 11-5 and not making the playoffs. Then in 2009-2010 playoffs pats get blown out and lose to the ravens in the wild card round, then the pats losing to the browns getting blown out in 2010 season then the pats losing to the here in the 2010-2011 playoff divisional round against the jets, then the pats losing superbowl 46 to the giants again, then in 2012 the pats got there ads whipped in the afc championship game rematch from a yr before with the ravens cause the ravens missed the field goal to tie the game and send it to ot, then the in 2013 afc championship game the pats got beat by the Broncos, but now the NFL wants to try and give the pats another dynasty superbowl wins cause Brady's retiring soon, smh. The NFL seems like it's more like wwe nowadays fixed and scripted for entertainment and money, also the NBA and MLB seem like it's scripted fixed too also idk but the nhl though.
The years weren't necessarily shit. They had 11+ wins each season. Their defense just got terrible. Brady basically carried the team to the playoffs. They went 14-2 in 2010, despite losing to the Browns.
Tainopisno1 Yep 2009 & 2010 were crazy years for the Pats, you said it 2009 they got blown out by the Ravens at home in the playoffs which was the last time the Pats were a wildcard in the playoffs, and Brady didn't look like himself, he kept turning the ball over and was looking like Nathan Peterman and in 2010 they lost to the Jets back when they were nasty on both sides of the ball, ahhh remember when Sanchez was actually good, I missed those days because it made you realize the Pats actually had competition in their division, I wish Sanchez never turned out the way he did, if he didn't end up sucking it would've been fun to watch the Jets and the Pats go at it each time they play, what if Sanchez didn't get hurt in 2013, would he have started over Geno Smith, who knows, but that was nine and eight years and things have really changed, except for the Pats of course that are always good
@@robsmith961 How long have you been on the bandwagon, LOL! Steelers, Jets, Browns, Bengals, Chargers, Panthers, Chiefs, Colts, Seahawks, 49ers, Ravens, Packer ALL had strong records in that era. They weren't dreaming either, bandwagoneer - LOL!
What a pleasure to watch the Browns cream the Pats!! I’m probably the only guy who disdains the Pats and will watch any game and cheer for any team that wipes out the Pats. If the Pats went 0-16 it would be a perfect season.
Brady is so overrated . NE dominated the 2010s because they had one of the best defenses , and pass blocking lines ever . Brady is a passing robot . When the secondary has his receivers covered or the pocket breaks down Brady is virtually useless . All the great qbs had quick reflexes, could improvise , get out of the pocket, gives receivers time to get open, and make completions, pass on the run, or run for a gain . not brady .
