This is not one of my good Videos, had to do some extreme editing in the beginning of Video I was hot and been fighting the Car for half a day so I was a little on edge.
But basically this is how you get keys installed into a VW when you loose all of them.
I am just a one-man shop that is located near the Kentucky border in Southern Illinois. I try hard to have each and every Customer happy when they pick up their vehicle.

So after you made the dealer key did you just go to key learning to write back to the chip? Or just save a new file and write that back?

I got a question because I haven't done this particular car. After you made the dealer keys. I'm thinking you just missed the part where you write keys to ecu and put what number you want them in. Did you go back to the bench and do that? Or did you go back to the vehicle and do it via odb since the keys were already dealer keys and you had pin and CS data? If you did do it via bench when you hooked up the module did everything work off the bat as far as buttons and starting? Or did you have to connect to odb to get remote functions? Please let me know I do a lot of cars myself and have some videos maybe we can share some knowledge.

@@ralfsautomotive Dont ever use the eeprom clip on this one. It erased my chip. I heard rumors but didn't know if it really happens. And what sucks is I have soldering skills. But I use the clip in past no issues

That entire process is not cheap and I would not promise this to work the first go around. I did 2 more since that worked. You can contact me via text. I am easy to find on Google.

Is the key you used from the dealer or can it be aftermarket?

Aftermarket works fine.

So when they make these cars they generate like 8 dealer keys. When you lose one and call VW they grab a blank key pull up your VIN and select to use the 3rd dealer key or whatever number they want. So when you do this process you are adding a new dealer key. That's why you gotta do EPROM. It doesn't matter if the key is oem or not. You just gotta make it into a dealer key.
