GOODNIGHT I SEE THAT YOU ARE IN THE USA, I'M IN EUROPE, HERE I AM A FOLLOWER AND I ADMIRED YOUR WORK, YOU HAVE ALREADY DONE SOME VW TRANSPORTER AE, 2014...
Has anyone gotten this boot mode method to work with the key tool+? Once the cluster is in boot mode, reading EEPROM or immobilizer data won’t work. The service mode method works on the key tool, but it’s extremely annoying.
It would be interesting to see if he could do this all on bench with prox instead of a keyed ignition? I use the same tools but must learn the prox type via OBD in car. Also I use the "make key with immo data" instead of "make dealer key"...not sure the difference?
@jackgates6949 Unfortunately for prox systems, the key needs to be learned through the OBD because the kessy needs to see the new key To program the keyless go access.
I need help how can we get in contact . I went to do add key 2012 vw jetta tds proximity but vvdi2 will not automatically recognize the cluster and the ignition is on ask me to try to manually select one try all off them but nothing any tips
Excellent video. Question, is it possible to delete keys or re-write to a used slot if all are used? I realize all available keys need to be reintroduced when adding so can the truly lost/stolen key slot be reused?
@@stevematzke1428 You have to learn the keys, the traditional way with pin code login and introducing each key individually on the coil. not by VVDI2 Direct method
@@AutoLockSector customer has 2011 Jetta AKL, 7 slots used. Wants 2 new. Make last remaining slot directly and use CS and PIN through OBD to delete all and re-introduce this new and one add? Not Kessy.
@@AutoLockSector with vvdi2, on bench, was able to create dealer key with super chip (in this case for testing) and when adding chose option 3 and program with saved immo file. All keys deleted (all FFFFFFFF) but the one I introduced. Used Abrites NEC coil and switch. Thank you for the video. But yes, you can delete all and program new directly.
@@rick.galvez.youtube VW NEC Cluster Set (Abrites) This is the cable your looking for….not sure which suppliers have it at the moment….most will drop ship…
I just tried this procedure, Im using the exact same software and hardware as you were here. The issue Im having is the option to ‘read eeprom/flash’ on VVDI 2 is grayed out, no option to click it. In working on a 2012 Jetta cluster. Maybe I have to manually select the instrument type first… but I have tried several of them and none are connecting and reading the immo. Please help
Pre select the Instrument Cluster, Put Cluster into service mode by holding the point for 10 secs than release, than click read eeprom and wait (be patient)
@@AutoLockSector how do I pre-select the instrument cluster? There are a lot of options under ‘4th Immo system’… do i just try each one until it connects?
does this require any vag old helper? or can be done without all that? just not sure on that due to the server shut down etc. i have vvdi2 and autel. i dont want to go OEM dealer key and ODIS as the customer is far out etc. thanks
Tried to do same procedure with key tool plus, and yes I do have adapter and pogo pin but guess what Key tool plus fail to get immo data Key tool plus piece of sht
keep up the energy in a year or so you will be doing these jobs for peanuts because you and a few others decide to teach everyone how to do it for likes, comments and subscribe
Good point brother. But nothing we can do about it. If not him some other person going to upload video. If not this other person, then another person going to do it just to get those views.
