Thank you so much for this!!!! I was thinking that we had to remove the bumper as well at first but so glad I stumbled upon your video. Literally saved us so much time and funds. Only took a matter of minutes to get it done. Much appreciated for sharing this video!!!
Did you mentioned that this model uses Bi-Xenon D1S versions bulbs? Also is more recommend to get 50w to 55w D1S versions as these produces excellent clean clear bright light than 35w xenons!
david lousana hello I really don’t remember I’ve ordered from two places I’ll look tomorrow and see if I can find the old packages or receipts. But you can just google your year , make and series and you’ll get a Good selection of lights and different prices thank you for watching I really appreciate you
@@Marty09933 I looked online and the bulb looks nothing like what you replaced with the square silver module what you replaced was the lights that come on during daytime correct???
david lousana yes your correct it was the daytime running lights . Sorry I’m not sure how to put the link on here still working on that see if this will work www.google.com/aclk?sa=l&ai=DChcSEwjR0pSPup_pAhWBiMgKHRhhB6IYABAvGgJxdQ&sig=AOD64_0G2d9kO1rDRFu8LmufMcxAGsG2Qw&ctype=5&q=&ved=0ahUKEwiGj46Pup_pAhVJL6wKHe3LBQIQww8I4Qg&adurl=
Dealership told me you can’t use the cheaper ones. Gave them the last 7 digits of my vin and they told me which bulb comes with that car and it was the $300 ones and said I can’t just change to cheaper bulbs because I would have to change the module and other stuff around the bulb. Is this true because clearly it’s not because of your video right
Hi Bleu6661 no that’s not true you can buy cheaper but if you get them too cheap, they might not last as long but a good online company is FCP Euro that’s where I got all my parts online and different other places that sell good BMW parts. Online. I didn’t go to the dealer and let them rip me off. thank you for watching. I really appreciate you.
@@Bleu6661 awesome brother there you go don’t let them dealer stick it to you. Yes I’ve already used the new ones and they work they don’t have to be from the dealer like I said if they’re real cheap they might not last as long but you’ll find out but they should be good. and sometimes when you install them they won’t turn on. You’ll have to play with the light switch off and then back on maybe turn the car off and then back on
