You are the man! Every other comment on here is true I watched probably 15 videos of how the hell to get the door open and panel off with it shut and everyone was saying you gotta cut this and destroy that! THANK YOU!
thanks for your trick, works very well, but may i add the following...i did it from the outside with window down, you have to make space with a screw driver pry the corner plastic and rubber away until you see the inside with a flashlight, i used a 3/16 steel rod, took a 10minites to hit the sweet spot...
What do you if your on the outside and your 1 and only key is locked inside 😢. The handle on passenger side door is not completely off . I was repairing it's not off so my only way in is through passenger outside door through the handle wholes.
Strange! How did you get the window gasket off w/o taking off the door panel off and how did you get the door panel off w/o taking the seat out. Great inside door video but no actual footage of getting there!
I’m having the same issue, my door will not open from the inside nor outside. I tried your trick with the lever from the window entrance, but no luck with that. Im lost, I’ve tried all other tricks I can find on RU-vid, still can not get it open.
Door may not be fully shut. Roll the window down and grab the side of the door and hand pressure below the latch. Pull and push the door till it fully shuts again. There isn't much play and the door is pretty hard to push shut. Once shut, you should be able to pop open. Oil the latch when open.
I was having same issue, after messing around with the latch for almost an hour, my dad came and pushed the door in and pulled the door handle and it popped open, check how far your door is latched in, if the door is not flush with the cab then there is your issue, did you happen to close the door too hard?
Yup sure did: got the door open!! Thank God I found the right person: At this shop in Watsonville California. Im not to sure if your from California but if you are: I could always Guide you to that location ware I took my Chevy, Also from what I Observed this guy that worked on my Chevy he didn't break nothing or cut nothing he just kinda did wat this guy did on this video, The guy I took it took he orady new wat he was doing , it didn't took him to long to get it open. He only charged me $30 buck's Peace✌
