Nice job. I'm currently doing a 2012 one now in the same rear wheel well spot. Seems that all of these caravans are just throw aways. They rot out so quick.
You are smart to do the repair now, before the rust gets worse. Also, it lets you get that sound deadening foam out of there so water can't be trapped and cause further damage. A little work now will keep your van looking good for years while other vans look terrible. You might want to look at the bottom edges of your front doors for possible rust starting. This would be a good time to sand those edges down, reseal and repaint before rust through starts.
