The only problem is that you are doing this on a lift. Most people will not have one or access to one. The approach I took on the last Ram 2500 was I removed the air filter box and had access to the tensioner. since I was on the ground, it provided great access.

It’s easier if you take the air box cleaner out, have better access to the tensioner and belt removal and install. Did the tensioner pulley and fan belt less than 20 mins.
