@@SVXtasy_ Yeah the taillights do have a weird shape to them, maybe not quite aggressive enough? The regular Imprezas from this gen can get away with it imo but it doesn't quite fit on something aggressive like a WRX.
I've got a 2010 WRX I picked up just over a month ago and it's not as fast as an STI, it's everything I need it to be. Stock except exhaust, intake, and coilovers. This STI here is very nice, I think I'd love to take it for a drive to compare
I owned an 07 STI and drove the next body style when they came out and thought it felt huge, slow, and soft, but no where near as slow as the latest one.. i wish they still made the utilitarian wrx, these later ones are nearly as big as a camry.
@@rustbeltrobclassic2512 Yeah 06 is a hawkeye. Hawkeyes were the best last WRX generation. im still hanging onto mine today and it still runs stronger than these newer gens
@@shinobu3817 i loved that car, mine was black with gold bbs wheels, was an absolute head turner. A real drivers car. Real nice manual transmission and great clutch feel. Seat’s if i am honest were terrible, as were the stupid frameless windows in the winter, the glass would freeze to the rubber stripping. But that exhaust burble and 90’s style turbo lag was so much fun..
I have 2011 WRX Premium, and I fucking love it. Everyday I go to work I can't help but smile. She's just so much fun stock and as a daily driver, I couldn't ever ask for anything better. If anyone ever has a chance, I highly recommend getting one. I was lucky and bought her bone stock never been tuned.
I got a 2011 Black Subaru WRX STI with a couple of extra official Subaru addons (front lip,red interior lighting, boost gauge, kicker subwoofer in the trunk.
i got to test drive a friends japanese import, fully stock but theyre generally sportier with the transmission and clutch (not sure bout the suspension but its very good for stock) and the right hand drive takes a bit of getting used to but it was 100% the most fun car ive ever driven, and i drive brand new audi rs at work xD i was surprised at how much space it had to offer on the inside and he compared it to his evo x which is roughly the same size but significantly less spacious, especially the trunk. needless to say im currently saving up to take it off my friends hands xD
I love Subaru since I was young. But I can’t get over their interior design. For me interior design is as important as the fun to drive aspect. If they up their game and make it less cheap looking, I would jump ship from German cars to Subaru cuz I had always love Subaru and their exterior design. I’d like to see something at least similar to what they have done with the BRZ (which I think was designed by Toyota)
Sounds like it has equal length headers, so not quite the 'signature' rumble, but it still sounds pretty good. I'll be keeping my '13 hatch till it dies on me I think.
It could be the mods but it has nothing to with the driving. The shop the built the car kind of messed up on couple of things that kind of led to it being the 3rd motor. First motor wasn't the block that I wanted and it went out after 3 months. Second motor was iag but the miss couple of thing and blew it on the dyno. Now it's built right and haven't has a problem with it since.
the new one looks like a Prius Prime that really wanted to be a WRX. Under the hood though it is pretty bad ass but I can't get over how shitty it looks.
