Hey David A good trick we developed was bungee or tying his knees together... thats helps to hug the seat and keep his feet in the right spot... he is still free to fall off because he is not strapped to the machine. It also helps that Sam is very tall, to his long legs help keep his feet in the holders too...
did you buy it new? Its been proven time after time that ANY sled can break... I cracked a clutch on a 2012 summit X this year... Seen a 2013 RMK pop this year too. There were multiple "tow homes" for acrtic cats as well this year (although I think both were driver error haha)
how does the paralized rider have his seat setup? im also paralyzed (motocross crash) and i have 2009 800r xp. if you can have him contact me that would be awesome, cause when i sled, i keep sliding to one side, and i dont wanna be strapped to the sled, thanks!
I stretched and stripped the hardware earlier that day (the first time my bars shifted)... I tightened them every half hour.... had to get a new stack and hardware because of how bent out they got. (covered under warranty)
personally I'm loyal to ski-doo... but thats for my own reasons. If there was a polaris dealership closer to me, I might consider getting one. never been a huge fan of artic cat, but they are growing on me. I flat out despise Yami except for their old MTN Max triples... they last for ever! even turbo nitros are sluggish at low speeds. they have much work to do to be competitive
