So, you have to syphon the oil out of that. No drain underneath? I wouldn't have questioned that until I got to the point where you got under it for the blade sharpening. I'd love to have your grinder. . . .looks more stout than my Chinese one, and mine needs a brush, . . . . has 2 grinding wheels. Another great, informative video Ken! Thanks for sharing. :-) 🥰
Thank you, Jake for watching and your lovely comment. the drain plug is in the side of the sump. That is where the hose with the yellow top is. That is why I checked to make sure the sump was empty by seeing if any oil came out of that tube. I have found that I can actually suck more oil out of the sump than using the factory drain tube unless I go to the trouble of propping up the left-hand side as seen from the driver's seat. That combination grinder and wire wheel is an old 1980's Craftsman made in the USA. I have another grinder; it is a very old Craftsman from the 1940's with a separate motor and belt. I use it for heavier jobs.
