Good luck with the repair. The first time mine went out I was a long way from home so had a shop fix it. The second time I caught it early enough to do it at home
I just did my truck and it wants to over heat when running the reservoir has enough Coolent. It’s there a proper way to add coolent i just fill out the reservoir and turn on my truck. As I drive it it wants to overheat. C/H idle moves doesn’t stay still like before changing the water pump
I had the same problem before on a Yukon, and I could of never figure it out. It was not he thermostat. Another mechanic took of the pump and pour antifreeze on the mother amd put the pump again. And it solve the problem.
