did great, exactly how i expected it to perform. the one i had installed was truly a good toilet but it was just round. these are cool but it wouldn’t hurt for them to be on 1.6 consistently
I still absolutely hate these toilets today including the older ones! They may have good performance, but they are obviously known for the absolutely terrible bowl rinse! Plus, the trapway on these toilets look so ugly in my opinion!
I remember that too and I also remember when I thought all Glacier Bays were junk. That was, until I got one that was decent. To be completely honest, the community is a lot better than it was before. There is a lot less drama because the people who caused it are either less active or gone entirely.
This is definitely one of the better Glacier Bay's despite not doing too great on the 1.28 Gal set up with the even shorter press and release flush - it took the washcloth and the grocery bag separately which for a toilet is okay (most definitely okay for normal usage). This would do even better once the water level in the tank is raised for more of a 1.6 Gal flush (which then this would a a 'Decent Toilet'). On the current setting the bowl clearance is a lot to be desired as the flush is way too short but it did it on the second (1.6 Gal flush would be ideal). The overfilled tank flush was amazing though as it actually siphoned twice with a clogged siphon jet! As it stands I give it a 'Okay' 6/10
Probably around 99% of Glacier Bay toilets are garbage but then you have this and the Power Flush that just get covered by blanket statements. Many people probably haven't paid attention to what kind of Glacier Bay they find and just assume they're all the same. Either that or they're bored by them so they don't bother to try and find the differences.
The Glacier Bay isn’t the best or the worst but not the greatest, when it came to the tests didn’t do too bad but could better if the HET toilet had more water and longer flush. When the tank is overfilled, does a very good job when it flushes
