@@oleksandrm1052 И гораздо больше могут пройти если заливать оригинальный антифриз и масло, если не рвать машину и заливать периодически антифрикционные качественные присадки в двигатель и коробку передач. Если каждые 25-30 тысяч регулировать зазоры клапанов( Хонда Цивик 9 поколения последняя машина с этим двигателем вершиной тех технологий, где ещё нужно в ручную регулировать зазоры клапанов, всё остальное новое дерьмо этого не требует, но и работает в три раза меньше старых доведённых до совершенства технологий на тех двигателях. Цепь ГРМ до замены работает до 200 000 и более, а оригинальный антифриз залитый на заводе ходит 200 000 прежде чем его следует заменить. Для сравнения у шкода октавия цепь ГРМ нужно менять уже после 70 000, иначе можно влететь на кап ремонт двигателя.

@@shax232great purchase the car has the touches of luxury while not having overly complicated electronics I use the cars Bluetooth every use and works perfectly while the driver focus cockpit makes it comfortable for short or long drives, and the interior is surprisingly bigger than what u think I have had a fiesta before and I prefer this anyday great daily driver

@@user-ew9se5en5t I’m looking at the 1.4 SE trim as that’s the trim that seems to fit my budget the best. Would you say the car is good for city use? I live in London and will be doing lots of city driving with the occasional motorway driving

@@shax232 I think it’s good at city use because that’s what I mainly use it in but It around 6.5-7 L per 100km in city and I Mainly have eco mode on to make it more fuel efficient but overall great car I got mine 2000km on the dash and was in mint condition but more heavy used one’s are still good if u take care of it , the back window with the black strip in the middle shown in the video is my only downside but u get used to it quickly

One could rightly argue that the 1.4l engine is probably not your best choice in this size of a car if you do a lot of highway driving but it is definitely a true Honda engine. I love the way it sounds as you rev it out. If you blindfolded and put me in the back I might think it's a Civic 1.4 or 1.5 from the 90s :D

@@shax232 I've never driven one but know people who own this generation Civic with the 100hp 1.4 engine. I think it's very good for city driving/suburban commute. Probably not bad on the backroads either. The highway is not where it shines, the lighter Jazz probably feels significantly more potent with the same engine, but many go on vacations in these too and drive hundreds of kilometers on the highway without too much inconvenience. If you don't drive on the highway all that much annually, it could be a good choice. Road test one if you have the chance and see it for yourself how it feels at highway speeds in terms of engine revs/engine noise/driving dynamics/fuel economy.

@@danc.9554I do think the 1.4 would be a better choice for me given I live in London where there is traffic all the time. My only issue is that I travel with 4 people minimum very frequently so I don’t know if the engine will be strong enough to carry extra people. Also the 1.4 civics in the uk only come in SE spec and I would’ve loved to had a better spec for my next car

@@shax232 bring three buddies to ride along with you when you road test one 🙃 Otherwise it sounds like a hybrid would suite your needs better than a regular petrol. How about a Honda Insight or Civic Hybrid from the same era? They are relatively simple cars despite being hybrids and don't necessarily cost more to get than a regular Civic. On the other hand, they are probably not loaded with many specs either. One of the Toyota hybrids could be the right choice for you in terms of creature comforts. Those, however, tend to cost more, and have more expensive parts on them that can possibly break. Do your own research, create a list of potential future cost items, and weigh everything in. I hope you'll find the ideal model and also manage to find a car in good shape.

Thanks mate for this video. I wanted see in what rev you shifted gears. What completely makes me a bit confused is UP and DOWN shifter on dashboard. I don’t follow this sign when I drive but in 28 miles shows me shift to 5 and 30 miles to 6 what I think is extremely low. I know it is just information for best petrol consumption but as I said in 28 miles 5 ??? Weird 😮 Econ mode is completely useless I never use absolutely no power rev is even lower than normal and mainly consumption of petrol is minimum nearly NO different than normal drive without ECON. Otherwise which city of Poland is it please. Thanks

So this is kind of the spaceship comes back to earth version. I have never driven one. I did have the next gen 1.0 manual which was an amazing drive although had too much road noise. I swapped it for a 2022 CR-V which I love. I am thinking of buying one for my grown up children to help them get a driving license. Is this a good plan? the 1.4 is group 05 in the uk.

would be better if you go on the same bumpy road with all the cars you drive, in that way we can see which one has better build quality without rattling noises.

It seems a very good engine,but fits better in a jazz than in a Civic,because of the size/weight of the Civic and the low torque engine

@@Spierdalajyoutube U mnie spala 4.1-4.3l średnio super ciągnie od dołu i w trasie również daje radę, uważaj na wałki tylko bo lubią się pierdzielić, ale jak robisz serwis regularnie, dolewasz ceramizatory i inne to jest super. Jakbym miał wybierać to wybrałbym znowu 1.6. Kwestia preferencji, silniczek pracuje tak, że go praktycznie nie slychać i nie czuć żadnych wibracji.

Miałem kiedyś taką Hondę dokładnie z takim samym silnikiem, i jest on do bani. Słabizna niesamowita. Do takiego Civica co najmniej to 1.8 140KM. Joe co myślisz?😎

It feels the road like a chariots 🤔 I was about to look for one to buy but ... if this is true - Fuel Consumption Combined in l/100 km by Joe : 8,2 !? Wow, for a 1.4 engine, it's a bit too much, and not economic in these days of expensive fuel! My old Opel Astra 1.7 diesel drinks no more than 5 L. combined.

@@oleksandrm1052 is it the same car 1.4L? I’m considering of buying the diesel 1.6, but a petrol is a petrol. I won’t have to worry about high maintenance costs. If it has 6-6,5l/100km combined driving, it would be good.

@@giannisk.6487 I´m doing around 5,7-6,5L with the 1.4L, I drive pretty sporty and alot of highway 130-150kmh. Also put an sport exhaust on it and its very fun to drive. Could have some more power from 130kmh up, but I guess thats only a german highway problem

It's a compact car, but this is the smallest engine as far as I know in this model. Same as Golf, i30, Ceed also have 1.4 liter engine.

look at how the buttons on the door and the steering wheel are not iluminated at all. That's a very miserable design. Japanese car makers started to iluminate buttons only in the last years meanwhile VW group and Ford did it from the end of 90s.

Крутая машина, одна из трёх самых надёжных машин поколения до и 2012 года! После них пошли машины одноразового употребления, но это если говорить про японцев. Что касается других марок, то одноразовыми их стали делать и гораздо раньше. Например после неубиваемого БУМЕРА ( БМВ ) стали выпускать откровенное говно по сравнению с неубиваемым бумером. И так везде, последними сдались японцы со своим неубиваемым если с правильной эксплуатацией Хонда Цивик поколение 9 хетчбек. Всё остальное что после этого, просто говно по сути. Но я купил такую с двигателем 1.8 и с МКПП. Машина просто песня, на трассе до 110-120 км в час кушает около 5 литров! Ну а что ожидать от машины с сопротивлением воздушному потоку всего 0.27, и с таким прекрасным двигателем и весом машины! Одно неудобство, она очень низкая и в неё забираешься почти как в какой нибудь спорт кар. А на трассе да и везде, машина зверь, если ты один в машине и даёшь газу, то она прёт почти как спорт кар, но даже с полным салоном людей, едет просто супер, ускоряется очень быстро и летит как подорванная! Отличная машина при правильном обслуживании!
