This was a water leak making its way into the car soaking the carpet and insulation on the front driver and passenger side floor boards. The leak was found near the water drain oulets port from cowl into fender well on both sides. Water was penetrating through the old cracked factory caulk where the metal seams came together and overlapped. The area was cleaned with a small meatal brush, using automotive SEM seam sealer over top of old sealer.
