2012 Outlander XT 1000 Clutch Upgrade 

Completed the clutch install, using the solid rivet weights. This took a lot of effort crimping the weights into the arms. I used a 6 inch heavy duty vise, because the 4.5 inch one wouldn't do it. Other than that, it worked exactly like you showed. I was truly amazed at how much a difference I had from stock. Great instructional video.

dalton kits are best bang for buck,,, I put there dbo 650 kit in my xmr650 and really like how it works for the money,, it definitely needed it after can am put 28 mudzillas on withh no clutch changes compared to 650 xt

did the clutch kit raise the stall a lot? how is the engagement after the install?

So do they make a clutch kit for stock tire size or 26”? I just do fast trail riding.

Another BIG upgrade is to remap the computer, have to send it in, take 2 weeks, and for a little over $ 100.00 It's the biggest improvement indeed !

Do you need to do any changes to your computer or is it a direct bolt on and that does it..?

did u loose any on the top end with the clutch kit ?

Is it a good upgrade with stock tires?

I would stick to a stock belt. No aftermarket belt will perform or last longer as the BRP belts do. IMO

It looks pretty cool but the rennys are still better because of the 1000 engines
