Thanks for the video guys. I'm here because I heard the 'bong' sound and then a snowflake came on and my display started flashing with the temperature. I've only had the car a few months so I had no idea what was going on! I'm sharing this for those of you who are looking for the same thing, all it means is that the car is telling you it's cold out. Seriously. It just means that there could be an opportunity for ice to form on the road. I'm sharing this because even the dealership had no idea about it and I had to go hunt through for I'm so there you go. Hope it's helpful for the one other person in the world that might ever look for it, haha
I’m late to this but that’s completely normal. Nearly all cars should light up the warning lights when the car is off and the lights should turn off when the car is running. People used to unscrew the light bulbs in their dash to hide if a check engine light was going off when selling their car
