2012 VW Passat SEL Premium TDI. This shows the progression of AdBlue deficiency warnings, until the vehicle ultimately will not start again. Then, after start was refused, I filled the AdBlue tank, and the vehicle started normally.
I just wait until it warns that I need to fill AdBlue. There is no reason not to fill it every 10,000 though -- that way it's on schedule, and you just don't have to ever worry about running low.
