Holy smack! Bro. Excellent vid! I’ve looked around for vids on this very subject. There are good one but this one was superior. Easy to follow and practical. Not to say the others were bad. I just followed yours better. Thanks for sharing.
Very detailed description,Excellent video . Thank you. I need a intake manifold . Have a same problem . My car is a 2009 audi a5 2.0 tfsi quattro. Can you help for buy?
The 2.0 TSI engine is the WORST engine in the modern era. A family member bought a used Tiguan and it has been nothing but trouble. Plastic parts that break, use of o-rings instead of gaskets, o-ring are ruined by oil contamination, and all the seals in the top of the engine leak! It’ll be traded in next week and good riddance? What a POS.
You need to change all the injector seals or else it will leak fuel as they are direct injection. The plastic white seals are one time use. When taken out they no longer hold pressure.
hi please i need your help .I have the check light engine on my vw passat cc 2009 on the dashboard and after diagnosis it was the P2014 issue . what i have to do and which part should i replace or repair ?
Makram Gafsi well I usually don’t call a diagnosis when is just a code read! But in this case is a very common failure of the intake manifold runner. Check the little arm on the left side of the manifold(driver side) to see if comes of or moves free. If yes you need to replace the entire intake manifold. Good luck
Hello! at 49:45 you take out the red flaps. I am going to clean the carbon out of my gti and those little plastic nubs or nipples on the end of the flaps are snapped off on two of my flaps like the second one that you take out. Does it matter if that plastic part is broken off do you know? I would really appreciate any input on this, thank you!!!
Hi is there anyway I can contact you personally. I have a 2011 Volkswagen Tiguan 135k miles and the engine light with the P2015 code has turned on. Not sure how to solve the issue. Thank you.
Can you tell me WHERE the CRANKSHAFT position sensor is in this engine? When you are standing looking at the engine which side? I can't find it ANYWHERE.
Thanks for this well made video. Have you tryied any other way to clean those parts (manifold and EGR) without dismounting them? I'm thinking hydrogen cleaning machine or additives? I'm sure your way is 100% efficient but how about the cost...? I'd like to clean those parts on my 100.000 miles Volvo 2012 car... It has no pbm, just prevention... Greetings from France.
Frederic Poisson well there are some chemicals that work like 50% (BG and so) but truly the only way to do it right is as I show. You can use a walnut blaster with a vacuum to make the process a little faster but it will always need to remove intake.
Mark Weaver it is a the bottom of the engine block next to the transmission. I have been looking for an image and no luck either. I will do a video soon addressing this location.
@@MaicSalazarDiagnostics THANK YOU for the help, I will remove the air box or air filter box so I can get down in there and look....there is a GREEN plug in there, I am assuming it is not it but close to it. Thanks again for your help!
comedyman112 the best thing to do is a full clean up like I show here and then an induction service every 10k miles. That will take care of any build up for good.
That's why these cars are so cheap and worthless on the used market. When people take it to the shop and they tell them it cost $2000 to clean the valves every 30-40k mi then people will get rid of them.
No I don't, and I can assure you that I will beat you by an hour! I am one of the fastest techs you will ever find without cutting corners or doing hacks!! Also takle in consideration that this is a video with multiple camera angles and techniques so others can do it.
