A nice little added touch that wasn't done in this video is lubricating the the caliper guide bolts with silicone grease. Use silicone grease because it won't deteriorate your pin's rubber boot. Cheers!

did you do a video on the rear brakes for this vehicle? I wondering if you still have to free up the control arm to get at that one bolt for the break pad holder.

Where exactly did you setup your hydraulic jack? I noticed it wasn't one of the four Hyundai recommended side points. It looks like you found a spot near the center of the vehicle?

ImStricken06 have you had to do the rear pads and rotors on this car yet? Is it a similar job? Getting ready to do mine and your video on the front end is the most help I've found yet.

Rears are very similar but in my opinion rears are easier...I’m doing both now...bolts are a bit more tricky on the front, rears were easily accessible

Damn, dealership got me good on doing the front brakes, but I will try to do rear brakes on my own

One question. Are the rear brakes any harder to do? The front brakes looked easy and smooth the eay you went through the steps.

Rear brakes are the exact same as long as they are disc brakes. I just replaced all my brakes all around on a 2014 Santa Fe Sport. Same process all around.

its all over the place depending on vehicle use and driver habits,my sons Santa-fe needs new brakes at 65000km

It depends on the driver, driving conditions etc. I changed mine at 94,000 KMs (57,000 miles) and still had lots of brake pad left on my original. I am really easy on my brakes though and do a lot of coasting/engine braking etc though,
