I got the harness, the bezel and the gauges brand new for just under $300 and installed myself. Not sure if I just got lucky but I have seen a few on eBay used for around the same price as what I got mine for. I’d never pay $700 for it all either so I can’t blame you for saying thag cuz GM wayyyyy over charges 😂 I will say that installing them while also having the big touch screen in the way was not fun at all, it made the job way more annoying lol
Awesome video man, was able to install it no problems! Had a bit of an issue getting the kick panel to reinstall, but that was because an alignment pin bent. Reset it, and slowly worked in the weather strip. Awesome product! Thanks Gen5Diy!
Thanks for posting this, it was super helpful. I just install my 4 pack gauge into my 2015 Camaro convertible. I'm sure I could not have done this without watching this video. And to think I was going to pay someone to do this. lol. Thanks again.
This install is on a 2013 LS V6 manual. They make kits for Automatic, V6 manual and V8 manual. Just make sure its for the correct year range as the harness is different in 2010 - 2012 cars and 2013 - up.
Hey! Real quick question? So I have a 2013 automatic RS. I found gauge clusters on a 2010 camaro. All I need is the 2013 harness right? And it will all connect
Mat Helms the door sill panel snaps in and out with clips as well as the kick panel. You may need to use a plastic pry tool to remove the access panel on the dash but it's held in with clips also.
TheExtraordinary15 it gets hidden. I ran it from the kick panel up and behind the glove box and the back down into the console. I did this off camera to save time in the video.
Red Spartan, I haven't ran into that issue before. The only thing I can see being an issue is if some of the wires are not routed correctly or the clips themselves are worn out.
yes, this was on a 2013 LS V6 Manual, the only difference between any of the kit is the harness which is dependent on which years (2010-2012 or 2013-up) this will not fit 6th Gen Camaros. the big difference in all the kits is the trim plate which is different between V6 manual, V8 manual and Automatic (V6 or V8) the difference is due to different shift patterns marked on the trim.
