Did you connect both big wire harness clamps inside center console? And exactly which wire clip Did you connect the original traction / lighter wire clip to on the new gauge wiring Thank you
Can you tell me I know how to change the stick shift boot cover but I’m just now looking at the one that I ordered on Amazon it’s coming with a round topped of the boot but on the SS stick shift it’s not round is more like a squish, so I’m wondering if it will still fit I guess I won’t know until it comes and I try to install it
Awesome video.lookin at a 2010ss that needs the gaugepack as well.how do you like drivin the 6 speed?i have always had autos,a 2010ss,2014ss and a 2020 lt1
That’s weird because I have a 2010 Camaro SS and mine came with that kit automatically not understanding how and why he had to switch his because I believe he is a super sport. Maybe it’s just a different package because I got the works when I first purchased my vehicle.
I believe it should, although the boost gauge on the ZL1 gauge set, might not work the way the regular SS gauges do. On the ZL1 gauge set, it is identical to the SS set, minus the trans temp gauge (2SS) for a boost/vacuum gauge (ZL1). The SS center console also only has a single button for traction control/Stabilitrak, whereas the ZL1 center console has 3 different buttons; one for traction control, sport mode (stiffer suspension adjustment), and touring mode (softer susp adj.). Swapping the center console itself, either for each other, will probably not work FULLY. The gauge set will probably work from a 2SS into a ZL1, but not from a ZL1 into an SS (1/2SS).
I think I have my old trim piece without the gauges if you want to trade. You’d just unplug the factory jumper harness and snap in the trim piece with the tray.
