Hello. Quick question. What's the name of the Y connector pipe that's right beside the reservoir. I have a 2013 Ford Fusion SE. Yes I think is called a Y connector 😂. Just looking for a part number or name. Thinking about just replacing that connector instead of the whole hose kit.

Everyone is saying, 'Coolant' now, is this stuff the same as Antifreeze? I've always wanted to save money by topping this off myself but was always afraid when I saw the cross on the hand sign on the cap. I'm making sure I wear goggles as well and when the car has not been running when it cools. My levels are quite low.

Can you Please help me, I'm trying to remove the degas bottle(tank) but I'm stuck with last part can't remove it 😟 (a piece of metal welded to the frame/ fender on the passenger side) the side of degas bottle sits on it, can't pull the tank straight upward since the top edge of the metal is thicker it seems impossible to get out without causing a damage ;( Fusion 2014 any suggestions

It's not ideal as it can cause the pressure to increase to much inside the cooling system. It needs a little air room for coolant to expand and contract as it cools and heats up. I hope that makes sense.

No, coolant keeps your engine from overheating. You need to look up info about your air conditioning system. You might need it topped up with more freon.
