I really liked your video. My daughter needs door speaker replacement. It’s a year older vehicle but virtually the same. Thanks for the video. I sent you a link to the tripod I use and it has the clip to hold you phone. It is awesome.
The driver/passengers must have been as high as the radio volume - thus broken speaker…. I enjoy your videos, working my way through them all, thanks! 👍
Thanks for the video. I have to disagree about aftermarket speakers being more difficult, though. I replaced all 4 door speakers in my fusion with pioneer 6.5" speakers and the process was no different. A ten dollar wiring harness adapter from Amazon made it even easier, although not necessary.
Hey Tony, I am experiencing some rattling from the door speaker on my Ford Fusion where the driver side lock and unlock buttons are. I was hoping you would be able to disassemble that portion of it but I was wondering if you have any tips on what I should do about that small speaker rattle in that portion of the car door.
@@tonyscarcare5657 I’m not sure what is causing the rattle since I cannot see inside it but if there is any punchy base playing, there is a high pitched rattle sound like something is barely loose but just loose enough to wiggle around from the vibrations of the base.
@@tonyscarcare5657 any tips on a possible easy fix? I was thinking maybe wd40 around some edges near it just in case it’s just plastic components vibrating off each other but can’t think of anything else that I could maybe do
Hey Guys which are the best speakers with good bass to go for replacing just speakers on oem 8 inch standard radio 2014 fusion , alpines , kickers, rockfords....etc .Many Thanks
Tony, do you happen to know if the tweeters on the same panel of the car are as simple to plug in and switch out as well? Or will the tweeters require splicing and such?
My top speakers on all four doors of my Ford Fusion 2017 S are not working. Would you know what the problem could be? Is their a fuse that needs to be replaced or they need to be replaced individually?
It irks me to no end when I detect the stink of weed coming from cars on the highway. With it now legal for use at home but not elsewhere and not to mention the laws against impaired driving I would think the cops would be writing tickets like crazy, but they seem to ignore it. I would refuse to work on stinky cars like those. Or charge double if I did.
That's crazy. We have a '91 Mustang GT since the car was new, and the original Premium Sound speakers (all six) are still in very good condition. Earlier this year I was able to find a NOS head unit with the graphic equalizer, which I have wanted forever, though I have not installed them yet (as well as the different amplifier specific for Mustang with the equalizer vs the non-equalizer system, though it wasn't NOS) as I want it modified with a Bluetooth receiver first. I may eventually use different speakers and a powered subwoofer, but these originals have aged remarkably well. The person selling the system thankfully stated in the eBay listing that is was for the Aerostar minivan, and I practically stole it, because if Mustang was in the listing, it probably would have cost three times as much.
If one of those is blown out, aren't the other four likely to be also? My wife got a new car, and I started driving her 2014 Fusion for my work commute. I'm hearing impaired, so I'm not sure, but I think all four are blown. Undoubtedly the result of my son and and his drug-head 'friends' turning the volume all the way up. I watched a similar video, but yours shows me where those clips are, especially in that piece behind the door latch. Were those $33 each? or for a pair.
Damn see just can’t mind your business didn’t have to say that at all why couldn’t you just stay focused on the job not your opinion on smell of the car this how you lose business so let’s go head and say you called the police and had them search it or have them pulled over sad
