How do you connect the new ecu to the immobilizer system in your car?

The immobilizer system has two parts, it's built/coded on a chip on the ECU and it tells the instrument cluster to find it in order for ghr car to start. In my case, i bypassed it with the help of a tuner person. Now my instrument cluster reads no immobilizer, so it'll allow the car to start

thats sick dude but why didnt you just put a b8 S4 engine in there? probably would have been easier and gotten more power ? i know for a fact that audis supercharged v6 is the most reliable engine they make

Thanks! Well that's the point nobody has a reliable 2.0T build especially in the B8/B8.5 platform while 2.0T owners either have issues with the build or sell it or give up & switch to an S4 for example. To me there's no reason to S4 swap an A4, might as well total it out & get an S4 lol or slap on a V8 R8 engine in it. But what I want, what my goal is to have my own 2.0T build built from the ground up. Sure I could have gotten a B9 A4 & called it a day, but none of my B8.5 parts, looks & mods would ever fit in a B9 chassis. Plus I don't want to loss over $30k for a car that's worth $5k according to book value of high milage... Sure I want to be different and stand out, but this build is for me, it's not for anybody else, not for my audience, nor would I ever sell the car. This car basically defies the limits on how far you can take an Audi build, plus imagine now a community buying cheap $5k A4 B8 2.0T cars & putting a new engine for less after this project showcases how much I've spent & so on.

@@MotorHeadTech B8.5 has the cncd and cnce(ea888.3) engines which are reliable and have being used for high HP builds. Those were sold on the EU market only though.

Correct, Thus I'm converting to the B8.5 Euro spec version with US parts but with more power than the A4, A5, Q5 CNCD engine since the B9 CYMC Comes with the DL501 transmission & 252hp which is not found in the B8.5 Euro Gen 3's I believe.

@@MotorHeadTech correct. Cncd is 225hp en cnce 230hp. The CYMC is also slightly newer it's ea888.3b or i think. In the EU we have GPF one those. From what i have seen they changed a few things also to the engine. But nevertheless good to mod, with a little effort and fabrication you can fit a is38 or garret turbo to them.

Is cymc engine called ea888.3b? How good are they?

Yes that is correct. And they are reliable & no issues since they have revised the previous generation of this engine and fixed all the previous generation problems with the new one. The new one does not have the oil consumption issues and it has resolved a few more other issues. This engine is quite reliable

@@MotorHeadTech since i can see that cymc engine is being installed for example in audi a6 2016 year,so it should be ea88 3 gen and not 3.b i believe so no ?

Well there are 2 different types of EA888 Gen 3 engines, a 1.8T (found in Europe) (and a 2.0T found in the North American and European markets)

Yes apparently the 1.8T has shown more reliability than the 2.0T until that is the new revision of the 2.0T engine aka gen 3 ea888
