Finally! An MSport 335i xDrive review on youtube. (And a good one at that) Thanks for reviewing this beauty....mine is almost to the LA port, it's been on a boat since late February. Thank you for a great review and for the perfect color combo as well (though I may be a bit biased...)
Excellent review; very informative. But why not take the car out onto a backroad where you can drive and corner faster. This is a sports sedan not a taxi.
The problem for guys who test all brands of cars is that they never have enough time in any one brand to get fully used to iDrive or the comparable feature.
in Vancouver BC here, every 3 series has xdrive, even 90% of the 320i, which boggles my mind because it only snows 1 week a year here, and xdrive wastes more gas and ruins the handling... I want to buy a pre-owned 3 series, but not being able to find a RWD is killing it for me.
XDrive suspension is the same regardless of MSport or no MSport. Have to get DHP to notice a difference in the dampers. Otherwise all XDrive cars get the same suspension.
it has poor small overlap crash test. Injury measures - Measures from the dummy indicate that injuries to the left lower leg would be likely in a crash of this severity. Injuries to the right lower leg would be possible
This guy is hating on BMWs iDrive system but the thing that makes it so great is that it's so simple and small. The Audi system is clustered by a bunch of buttons and controls and makes the system look too clunky
M Sport F30 looks best with the Star-Spoke Styling mags on 18inch or 19 inch. Mags on this review should not be allowed to be rocked by any M sport lol. nice car though, lets hope BMW has sorted out the "valve seals" issues and the new Beemer wont smoke latter on like most E90s.
Another great review. It's nice to see the real price a Canadian must pay. I'm so tired of the cheaper prices in the US for the same darn car. Or when a car is made in Canada and STILL costs more here.... meh that is another issue...
I would agree with you on the whole volume thing if you didn't have volume control on the wheel. It's not like you don't already have a hand on the wheel...
1) I used to think this car was hot, but since the new Lexus IS F-Sport was unveiled, this looks less appealing to me now. I really don't like BMW interiors 2) I'm surprised you prefer Audi MMI over iDrive. My mom has a 2012 Q7 S-Line, and that's what annoys me the most about that car (besides lack of power and lazy transmission, and the check engine light every month or so). The whole four corners thing is a bad idea and I wish Audi would change it. I much prefer the system in my Infiniti M.
Those are the luxury rims, should not be on the M sport... think the car has them on because of winter tyres the 18" standard and 19" upgraded are way nicer.
Great review. I would have loved more information, as this felt a like a short summary, but your presentation was very well done and professional. Can't stand the reviews by the young know-it-alls don't don't appear to actually know anything. Not that you're old. lol
The AWD BMW looks "hunkered down"??? Are you kidding? That's one of my biggest complaints with BMW. Their AWD models don't look hunkered down at all. For whatever reason, only Audi can make an AWD car that has a nice low ride height.
Oi! People, grow up. iDrive, MMI, Cue, whatever the case may be, it's a matter of personal choice. There's no way to say objectively that one system is better than any other because what's "best" will be decided by the end user.
mmi is better than iDrive? Yea u like turning the knob the opposite way I get that, now stop putting ur damn bias opinion in cars u don't know a bit, and u think u drive lots of cars? Ha yea all u got is the cars u can't even choose but say, " yes sir, I will review this. " btw don't make "reviewer's excuse" for those shit rims, don't even think about bullshitting mmi and iDrive when u can't even picking the rims.
