It is misfiring I have a M5 like that it’s not supposed to sound like that. If you look when the camera goes inside the car the light that came on the kombi it said drivetrain malfunction. It definitely has a misfire
Look up eisenmann exhaust m5 that’s how it’s supposed to sound. Click on the video where the car is white with ams Downpipes. Guarantee you will change your mind. I agree this video sounds like a m5 that’s been neglected
Didn’t open it up or couldn’t? That particular kombi warning also greatly reduces power output to try to save the engine. Source: real life experience.
The vacuum line from the muffler needs to be plugged that he unplugged when he just did the muffler delete. Just needs a vac cap or a simple a screw to keep pressure in the line it'll build boost again and stop Malfunctioning
They most likely didn’t plug the vacuum hoses that went to the oem muffler thus creating a vaccum leak and leaving the wastegate for the turbos open to where it won’t build the turbo pressure correctly and that’s why you see “ drive train malfunction, and the misfiring. Once you plug the vaccum lines , it will be fixed 👌🏾
@@ifoundjesusbehindthecouch6261 debatable, but to each their own. I mean Lexus ES has the same powertrain as the Camry, NX same as the rav4. Performance wise they have the same v8 engine since the beginning of time, Toyota is reliable because it is simple! Simple cars have simple problems, and there's nothing wrong with that.
Lol. Misfiring like crazy and for a longtime BMW owner, that drivetrain warning while puffing white smoke is no bueno. Especially on that particular V8 with over 100k miles and a “Hot V,” sounds like an engine replacement.
Something is wrong about the m5 like the sound of it is bad, the transmission was slow at every gear change like a manual transmission or something like that, and the launch wasen't a succes but a fail
These cars sound awful from the factory and even worse when you remove the mufflers. I own an N63 powered car and those are more like a traditional V8, but the S63 is a whole another animal. In this case, it really pays off to buy the expensive exhaust systems for these cars.
