Hey there, Just a quick question! I got into same issue which you had an year ago, I watched all of your videos. It was quite helpful for me to understand the issue. Thanks for that. I am having the same issues i.e. Check IMA system, Check Charging System, Check brake system. So, I believe I need to change that Intelligent Inverter (the whole unit). I live in Australia, and I have checked it everywhere here in Australia but couldn't find that part. So can you please guide me where did you get that part from? and for how much?
Howdy! There are two places in the states with which I'm familiar. One is Bumblebee Batteries where I got my inverter, and the other is Greentec Auto, which was the failed inverter in my car when I bought it from the auction. If you know a very good electrician, they might be able to unsolder the boards and replace just the IGT's. At the time of my need, the IGT's were very hard to find and rather expensive so I went the total replacement route. Good luck!
@aaronsrose I truly appreciate your help, fella. Like I said, I live in Australia, there's nothing here, and these two places, they don't deliber overseas. So I better stick with your suggestion of repairing the IGTs. Though, I don't have an idea about that. But, I'll try to find someone capable of doing so. Anyways, heaps of thanks.❤️
You might be able to look up this part # and see if it is correct for your car. I think this is the piece of the assembly that usually fails. Maybe a Honda dealer could source one. Alternately, could you find one wrecked at a scrap auction and buy it just for the parts?
@@aaronsrose the dealer is ready to source one but charging around $2200 USD. That seems to be a lot more expensive than what I can afford. Though, I’m in search of one from wreckers, hope to find one soon.
As far as I can tell yes. It's on its third invertor converter unit but I think it is the original battery. There are lots of codes it's can throw related to battery condition and I've not seen any of those yet.
