mr. Alex l. dykes thank you so much for doing something that nobody does in a car review...sitting in the back seat, its nice to see an adult seat in the back seat because it gives me an idea how big the space is.....
Nice catch. Honda has a very handy two-step hood prop, you can opt for almost vertical as you saw or a more standard lean. Very handy for working at the rear of the engine compartment.
All Honda Accord 4 cylinder models have had timing chains since 2003. The V6 models began using timing chains in 2008 with the introduction of the 3.5 liter V6.
You said the fold down seat release in the trunk was annoying. I disagree. I think its annoying that when i'm putting something big in the trunk I have to open the side door to fold the seat down them go back to the trunk. This is a great feature.
So glad they are offering a 4 cylinder MPG version. That was the only thing they did wrong with the older accord hybrid. Not that getting nearly 30 mpg city with 255 V6 hp wasn't awesome, but a hybrid is for max mpg, so it really needs to be in the 40 mpg range.
Hi, I read Autonews article on the new 2013 Accord and they stated that, "The Accord comes STANDARD with 16-inch wheels, cruise control, dual-zone climate control, alarm system with remote locks, Bluetooth connectivity, rear-view camera, auto-off headlights and a 160-watt CD stereo with USB and Pandora Internet radio." Can you confirm if the base LX model trim will have those standard features listed in the article?
I have a 2010 Honda accord, and I wish I had the new technology in this accord. I would love to have a side mirror camera when I switch lanes, especially during the winter when my windows are frozen solid! Looks very nice, the new camrys look very ugly to me...
just was at the LA car show . looked at the hybrid accord , same as the non hybrids , but didnt care for the strange look on the wheels. BUT ACCORDING to the reps there , they are claiming 47 city 47 hiway that would be way cool. HOPE ITS TRUE. I curently have a 2001 accord exl v6 152k on it .by far the most reliable car ever owned . on my 3rd set of tires .1cam belt waterpump n seals n tensioner all done at 118k mi good to go another 100k+ again . WOW if those mpg # are true on the 2013 hybri
actually, the accord hybrid they are making and releasing in fall 2013 offers 49 mpg city. it beats the camry because camry only offers 39, and prius, because prius is 48.
Is the owner able to reset the Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) sensors without going to the dealer? Some photos show a button below the Lane Departure Warning (LDW) and Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA) with Traction Control buttons on the left which may be able to do this.
looks nice, really digging the two screens....to be honest all these cars company take styling ques from each other. With all the cars we have now, its very hard to 100% original with designs and even ith safety features
I can see lots of accident with people playing around with all those controls on the center dash...talk about overkill... Style wise it's much better then previous years because I always hated that slopping door side "fold" design...at least it's more of a horizontal line...I used to own a 1997 Honda civic and LOVED that car but had to get rid of it because the seat was too hard...which is why I STILL won't buy a Honda because the seats are AWFUL and too hard...jus sayin
