Are you okay? This is the best looking Accord Coupe yet...Maybe the sun's shining too much in your eyes, the nose and the rear are so much better now! Hats off to Honda, hands to your face.
The best honda accord by far. GJ Honda! I was starting to think you guys were starting to trail behind Hyundai/Kia Toyota/Scion/Lexus but after this you guys are BACK!
Only thing I like about the genesis coupe was the 3.8 it had a little more kick into to it, I didn't like the interior at all uncomfortable seats too, but to perform like the genesis c I'd just slap on some bolt on onto it and it'll be right next to it. I'm glad I chooses the accord v6 coupe over the GC.
Me too, the quality of transmission in the Honda is just miles ahead of the Genesis, manual and auto, in economy mode when the variable cylinder management shuts down half the cylinders I get 36mpg
Saw it at the Auto Show a couple of days ago; to be honest, the front looks like it was smooshed into a wall and became a 2006-2011 Camry. The Coupe is suppose to be more swoopy than the sedan, but instead Honda saw it necessary to force a wide boat'ish front-end. Accord V6 Gen. 7.5 for the win! I sometimes still get asked if my '06 is the new Accord.
they are fwd drive because believe it or not, fwd is better for all year round driving (i.e. fwd is superior to rwd on an icy road because the weight is in the front). the accord was never a sports car. you want a rwd sports car, get a vette. if you want a solid built car that can fit 5 adults, get an accord.
yeah it's hard to beat honda's reliability (which is also why they maintain their value.. so to mention them separately is redundant). but there are few of us out there lucky enough that we don't have to drive the same car for 10 years and then have to worry about its value later on for selling or trade-ins. i drive a genesis coupe 3.8 and the difference between it and the accord coupe v6 isn't just horsepower. trust me. the accord coupe is a sedan with two less doors.
Kelsey's comment that there is a lack of power below 3K revs may be true, but he should have pointed out that Honda engines always make their power in the higher rev range. It's a characteristic that defines them. It's not a negative attribute, just how the engine was designed. One could say that it's a good thing because you can cruise around town/freeway and get good fuel economy and then rev the nuts off it when you want to have fun. Why the negative spin?
I think they give a great look. They don't embarrassing to me I actually get a lot of compliments for the head lights especially since I match 6000k hid's with LED running lights.
Looks elegant and sporty. I like it and it's styling will stay fresh for many years to come. BUT, I despise that new CVT. Let's hope Honda didn't mess with a good thing
i agree, to be honest to be i chose the accord V6 coupe over the Gc 3.8 .. the only thing i liked about the GC was the 3.8 348hp and the Brembo brake kit it comes with lol
i have an '11 cpe.. the back end of the '13 nice but i like the front end of my '11.. the 13 looks more like a civic but the audi style led's are pretty cool
I don't know...A couple nice enhancements like the touch-screen audio system and wide-angle mirror display, but I am still in more love with my 7.5G EX-L V6 coupe over any 8th or now 9th Gen...
Great honest review and This car is amazing!! 278hp and 6 speed manual PLUS Honda Quality I also did a few reviews on the car come check them out thanks and GO HONDA!!!
...or he could've just said, "I don't really like this car but I have to say something nice about it because it's my job. Oh... and by the way, I'm a complete dork. Just listen to this song in my phone!!"
A coupe with a round ass and short overhangs, totally original on the hyundai lol Like when the Genesis coupe came out everyone wasn't saying its a Infinity G series look a like haha
Why do reviewers at Cars.com complain so much! Just review the car! The back actually looks like a porsche if you look at it really fast. I dont know, it might just be me
If you care at all about driving then you would get a '14 Mazda6 over this at any trim level. Looks like a good car for grocery getting or driving my grandma to the hair salon, but I'd hate to be stuck with this car.
I like it a lot . Seriously your going to critique a large touch screens ability to see using sunglasses. Both are hi res screens and will make it much easier to move around through sources. The read looks very sporty, I guess you can never please Cars.com at all since they usually make statements on how the 8th Gen Accord's look to fat big or too conservative. What gives!!!
the gear selector in the car looks revamped thats the one knock i have on my car. the gear selector looks cheap and made with plastic and its short.. but other than that this new accord is the same as the previous generation with small exterior cosmetic changes and some interior tech upgrades..
Looks almost the same as the previous coupe. Honda saving money? At least the sedan looks all new. Why did they put the camera on the passenger side?? The driver side should have the camera
I agree, Honda has fallen off the fun sporty scene for the last 10 years. Since they wont build cars you really want anymore, why buy em? Deff not gonna trade my Preludes in! SOrry Honda, give us a fun car!
