Shumi rides the replacement for the Dazzler, the Honda CB Trigger and notes some changes. Read his first ride report here: overdrive.in/reviews/2013-hond...
Thanks shumi for sharing your words....Its been 2 since i am using honda stunner and want to upgrade this with a 150cc commuter bike but when i drove trigger i could not felt much difference at all..
I own a Dazzler for more than 1 and a half year for now. And I think it is an alternative for the Unicorn than the Dazzler. I think it is something in between them, rather than being a replacement for any of those.
well, and what about the instrument panel?, this bike looks decent, BUT here in my country which is Guatemala, the honda Dazzler (here its called Invicta) its quite expensive compare to the bajaj counterparts for example. over all this bike looks fin, im not amazed though.
I Liked the Dazzler...n bought it...if i wanted a heel n toe shifter with a covered chain then would rather have gone for a GS150r or the unicorn... But i disagree with Shumi when he says 'this' is a step towards pulsar 150...ask any dazzler owner n they'll say dazzler r much ahead of the pulsars n apaches( barring top speed in case of apache) Trigger is just a 'mixture' of unicorn n dazzler with new looks...
I own a dazzler and it's a good overall motorcycle but the upgrade although prettier still feels like too many cooks...... Honda need to clearly demarcate its "decent" customers from a younger and a little more power hungry audience... The dazzler picks up speed nicely and has never broken down on me in the 2 years so the quality bit is taken care of.... But I feel Honda are thinking in the right direction but they've thought only half... The other half of an aggressive product is still to come
i have a unicorn 2006 model..nd it runs like banana still.. i have ride new unicorn nd dazzler but i never get a comfort like my old one...thts y ppl said old is gold (moral)
Another waste of time from Honda through trigger. I would still prefer Honda Unicorn if only Honda was an option. If Dazzler was a flop then there is no power, no technology, no marketing strategy available that can make trigger a hit. I'm still trying to figure it out what type of crowd is focused for this bike. Competitive companies are way ahead in R&D and launching them in market, with Trigger Honda might suffer. I personally didn't like the bike and went for the Pulsar 200NS. Let's see...!!
