Great cars,VQ engines are the best V6 ever......but the price for the IPL i think is too much for 348hp.

I have a Q60S that is a year newer and I can attest to how nice these drive. My other car is a 350Z and this Q60 performs exactly the same as the 350Z. Although it has a more powerful engine, it is also some 400 lbs heavier. Basically, it is a Z with a back seat and a slightly more refined ride. The thing I love about both the Z and the Q is that they are so well balanced. They seem to have the perfect balance of handling, braking and acceleration. Many cars are quicker, but they don't handle the power well. If all you are looking for is 0 - 60 stoplight drag bragging rights, you may want to look elsewhere. But if you want a real driver's car that can handle most everything thrown at it, this car and the smaller 350 and 370Z's are the ticket. For me, the seats and driving position in my Z and my Q60 are the best fit of any cars I have ever driven.

i dont like how this guy is talking down on the 6mt i love my 6mt in my z34 its people like him that are making the MT availability less and less i will never buy a sports car that is automatic excpt for the GTR or something of that caliber

I drive a 2014 Infiniti Q60S with a six speed daily and I find absolutely no issues. The clutch and shifter are very forgiving. This thing is so powerful you don't even need to push on the gas while you let the clutch out in 1st to creep along. If you can not drive this car with a stick you probably should be driving something like a Kia.

I like how this IPL looks just like a G37 coupe with a JDM body kit and rims. I'll just get a regular coupe.

Though I adore the g37 coupe, I would much prefer this IPL trade-in the ugly-to-me body kit (keep the fog lights) for an equivalent boost in horsepower/torque.

2:25 I find it interesting to see the shifter move (wiggle) a fair bit when engaging and disengaging the throttle....

Man some of u people on here are so ignorant. It's ment to be loud inside that's what true performance lovers (love) for once THINK, when have anyone who truly love sports cars ever said I wish they would make the beautiful engine sound quieter...Damn do people ever stop hating or is that all we do?

I just test drive one today and I was blown away.......But it don't take much to satisfy me lol

He says the ride is fine but it is choppy when going over bumps in turns because the oem shocks have such little travel and the suspension is tuned so stiff. Not to mention they are expensive to replace.

Love the exhaust of these VQ engines!

It's already gotten one. The all new G will be reveiled in January, at the detroit auto show if i'm not mistaken.

This damn Infiniti G37 IPL Coupe should've have 400 hp. There is the the Z1 header now that you combine with the aftermarket exhaust, cold intakes that can helps this baby make 400 hp : )

Yeah, a lot of cars with manual transmissions do that. Why, I have no idea. I used to have a Ford Ranger that was like that, especially in 3rd gear which is funny because he's in 3rd here when that happens.

This is is a good looking car and why do they make it sound like 0-60 in 5.4 seconds is slow but in a WRX, that time is considered fast? Infiniti does need to make it lighter and not have a 400 lb convertible system. If they can just lower the weight of the car by 300lbs then they'll be where they should be in performance but I like the car regardless of this weight. Also, true sports car fans don't complain about engine noise!! They want a strong loud engine ala - nissan z and corvette's v8...the way sports car engines should sound!

its heavier than g35 but its .2l bigger and have 2 intakes with the displacement of a 3.7 v6 it haves gtr capability oh and its better looking than that old g35

I would've loved to get the ipl but the red interior was just too much for me. I bought a 2012 xs coupe black on black. Infiniti should've put black interior for the ipl.

Infinity, Nissan needs to hire somebody who can design cars ASAP.

If only they would supercharge it. That would bring the P.T up to around 325. Now if it was 375 hp and 325 pt, then and only then would it be worth the extra. My S4 which is much better on gas is a 3.0 supercharge and is just as fast but sounds better than the IPL with the supercharger wine that the S4 has. The S4 has 333 hp and 325 PT. So the S4 has 43 less hp but it has 50 more PT and will do 0-100 in 5.4 like the G37 IPL but again the S4 sounds better and is better on gas. Come on Infiniti put s supercharger in this G37 IPL and I'm a buyer.

51K for this? No thanks-- I'll take a hyundai genesis 3.8 R-spec and pocket the extra 21K all while I go faster, look cooler and have more fun. Maybe I'll spend te extra 21K on an impreza wagon to get me through the winter.

Does anyone else feel the G37 has become fat and bloated? The old G35 was a great car. It was an alternative for those who liked the 350Z but wanted to stay away from the boy-racer look. The G37 today, with it's unnecessary chrome (spoiler for example), is starting to remind me of a Lexus SC 430. Give it 2 years and we'll see an "executive gold package"...puke.
