just bought one ($70K with the options) , black and beautiful and it looks even better when its all full of mud, after all it is an off road vehicle and it is just that, a vehicle, so have fun and take it off road!!
You've simply confused the 2013 range rover sport with the range rover full size. They actually share no parts and are entirely different SUVs. the Sport doesn't get its aluminum body and refresh until 2014.
Info on in this video is on the 2014 Sport not this model! You should revise this video with caption boxes to correct you erroneous statements. You don't want a buyer to buy this model with total wrong information.
Grant, your details are wrong or you've confused this 2013 RRSportwith the 2013 Range Rover. This model did not lose weight nor did its wheelbase get stretched
Andrew Man haha you're right i was wondering what he was doing. Sadly many people don't know that the "sport" is an entirely different vehicle than the standard or fullsize Range Rover.
Yes, when your driving threw a water crossing creating a bow wave, you wouldn't want intake to be in the front and sucking up water so they pipe into fenders or in this case the port hole on the side fender. Which at the end of the bow wave at the front tire is the most shallow part. This is why you don't want to stop in middle of water crossing or go to fast in water because the bow wave can go over your hood line. Even so 90% of all Land Rover never see off road trails, still need to be built for it.
I actually had to do research for this vehicle because he said it had a stretch wheelbase I was thinking about a 2012 model but now a 2013 because of the stretched wheelbase and all...so much misinformation
I bet you can do a lot better price wise and with nicer features if you don't need to spend your money on off road features you don't need, I mean, this thing is built to go places, not just trips to the grocery store
In Africa we prefer Toyotas, they are way way more durable also YOTAS have a better network of spare parts. Range Rovers are grocery getters for your suburbanite wife, not a safari anything vehicle. Trust me Im an African and have lived in the East, west, North & South of Africa.
What’s the point in owning one of these if you don’t take it off road? That’s why they have these insane 4wd systems on them. I can’t understand why people who buy these are city slickers when they have a top of the line 4wd system.
.......What does it do??? Forget about how it looks...... I want to know does it have drive assist, adaptive braking, night vision, parking assist, lane departure, heads up display, GPS, Bluetooth, etc????? The back seats have absolutely NO room!!!! Mercedes, Audi, BMW have much better value for the money!!!
Honestly...... I appreciate your honesty. I may have gotten a little better since this one. Check out a more recent review and let me know I appreciate your viewership
