I like your opening format. short, concise and none of that ridiculous 30 seconds of loud dub-step crap for a title that takes only 5 seconds to read and digest before you get bored of it! Nice!

Triumph should give you your own show - this is by far the best Street Triple Service Video on the Net. Awesome. Especially that bit about the cable ties for the coil packs. Given me the confidence to have a look at changing my plugs. Long gone are the days when you could just whip them out at the side of the road with a plug spanner! Modern bikes eh! 👍

Very good movie! Helped a lot and gave confidence to try it myself! 👍 Ignition Coils turned out to be my big problem. They sat waaat harder than yours but I got them out by having a bigger piece of rope in the ziptie to give me better hold and then took suport on the handlebar for leaverage! 👍 Had to pull hard though.. Love this (these) videos. One thing that could make them better is a "tools required" at the beginning of the video. For this one in particular I didn't have the right tool to get the spark plug from the depth of the engine. And I wager there are several ways to do that. Cheers.

Great series of video's,I've got a 2014 675R & the maintenance seems more complex compared to my old school FZ750 & XT600. Mine's only done 3100 miles but I've read about the lack of grease in the swingarm linkage so I'll add that to the winter maintenance tasks,I'll also invest in the Dealertool. Thank you sooo much! for the awesome maintenance series videos. Just bought a 2013 triple, wish it was the R version but I think I will survive. This bike is so sweet but the kid that sold it didn't do any maintenance on it. So that's the first thing. Had a problem with the dash display. Can't get it into set up mode. The neutral light won't turn on when it's actually in neutral. So I'm thinking if I take out the shift indicator and clean it up? It's annoying cause the rev lights go off at like 4,000 rpms. So hopefully that neutral indicator switch will let me into the set up mode. Do you think I'm on the right track? Also had to quickly fiddle with the kick stand switch to get the bike into gear without it shutting off when I would put in first gear. Thanks again M8T.

What a great video! I couldn't have changed my plugs without you. I just wasn't able to pull the plug coils out, and was on the verge of taking it to the dealer. This is the only info I found on how to deal with those suckers. Every other source just said to pull them out. But not how... Even with your clever method it took everything I had to pull #1. The other two were pretty easy. Triumph had no concern for ease of maintenance when designing this bike. I looked for a video from you on measuring/adjusting valve clearance, but didn't see one. Did I miss it?

Before you disconect the fuel line it's good practice to depressurise the fuel line, you do this by disconnecting the fuel pump electrical connector and start the bike until it will run for a few seconds then die. Now you can safely disconect the fuel line. When you have reassembled everything once you turn the ignition on fuel pump runs and reprimes the system.

Hi Dave sorry I've been offline. I would double check your work just in case. Have you fitted the correct plugs i.e are the new ones the same length ? Does the engine turn over by hand? Although you would need to put on a paddock stand and put in gear and see if it turns although it may be hard with the plugs in. Check battery voltage under load to check that the voltage is dropping off to far. Failing that you would need to check the starter circuit/battery live cable / earth / starter motor. It's difficult to diagnose this over the internet so maybe get yourself a manual and follow the troubleshooting steps for your symptoms. Good luck
