Funny you should mention the feel of a 205 gti, I thought exactly the same when I test drove my Swift, the light weight and go kart handling really does remind me of the awesome 205

LucasJS you won't be disappointed!! She is a really fun car to learn the fwd driving techniques without being a handful (old school characteristics). Since everything nowadays is going turbo I am going to keep my sport forever! Ps this car flew under my radar and the specs don't fully reveal how fun this car is to drive. I pretty much saw on in dealers and bought one in 2mths

I think it makes a refreshing change from the stupid fake enthusiasm we see from most of them. Plus her voice is hot.

Deus Exodius NO, you're missing the point of juxtaposition. I'm not saying she should pretend to be entertained, very much the opposite. If she was truly having fun those choice of words would be relevant and truthful, as the Swift is enjoyable. But as she had all the buzz of a funeral director, the car was clearly not fun and she shouldn't have said it is. Alternatively if the car was actually fun, she must be a miserable stone faced bitch who shouldn't be filmed.

Well, judging by the other two commenters, and mine as well, I would say thats just your opinion, which, of course, you are entitled to. I think she does show a little enthusiasm, but in a very modest and subtle way. One does not need to jump up and down like Tom Cruise in order to use such words as "joy" or "happily" imho. Granted, she may not be the most animated presenter out there, but to call her a miserable stone faced bitch is excessive.

you get 52 mpg? seriously my 08 plate swift sport gets around 40 on a motorway on the trip computer and around 36 around town lol how did you manage those figures?

Obviously not. You have to have the key within 1m of the car (eg. in you pocket) for the button to unlock the doors.

You can never expect too much from a sport badge unless it's a sub compact instead, really...my brother's got a 96 Grand Am with a 4 banger that's much peppier than this even with the car's natural added weight because 90's. The 2.4L in these things is not the most reliable due to the ridiculous amount of compression the 2.4L has by default combined with gaskets that are not meant for the job in the first place (the heat from the compression is so high that it has a high performance radiator and coolant running between the piston chambers which is usually very unlikely), however that engine can tug this Grand Am up to 180 km/h pretty quickly even if you have an egging tire. (Courtesy of my brother's now-gone wreckless driving habits combined with being late to a movie theatre that night and his own car breaking down for finding this out.)

Ohlukei I beg to disagree mate probably when more then 2 people on board but for a 1.6 that revs over 7000 in my books I'm in love with everything including the engine
