Suzuki Swift Sport (Team Review) - Fifth Gear 

This wee gem should have been shown on the open road or winding country lanes, where it really excels. Doing handbrake turns like boy racers does not do it justice. The car is peppy, lively and fun. It handles corners like a go kart on rails, with a brilliant gearbox and great power to weight ratio. Reliable and durable too.

Where the Mini breaks down , the Suzuki is superbly reliable!!! the Suzuki ALL DAY LONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Iv owned a 2013 swift sport 5 dr for a year now and I can say there is nothing wrong with it, Very comfy to drive, shit size boot but the 136 bhp engine makes up for it, after 4000 rpm the vvti kicks in and it becomes a different car and puts others to shame, cracking 6 spd box, climate control, cruise control, push button start, keyless entry, handles well through the corners and can lose bigger more powerful cars through the bends, off the line its a very quick car, not planning to change it anytime soon.

I know some people thinks that this is a girl ride, but I like it a lot. I find it unisex. It is a beautiful, elegant car. Sold my CooperS for a Swift sport. It drive better with better fuel economy. It is better at being a Cooper than today's Mini in my honest opinion.

Currently looking to downsize to one of these from my big diesel, nice looking little cars with good reviews. Can pick one up with decent mileage for £5k. Sold.

I bougth a 2020 Suzuki Swift Sport BoosterJet 1.4 l Mt some days ago, because the test drive was great.

Where on earth did all this rubbish about "cheap interiors" start?! All sorts of car reviewers touching random parts of the interior saying it feels "cheap". I can't remember the last time I drove a car and thought HOLD ON I'M GOING TO TOUCH THE PLASTICS IN THE FOOTWELL AND LAMENT AT HOW CHEAP THE PLASTIC IS THERE.

What a piss poor review, who gives a toss about handbrake turn parking ! I had that mastered before I had a licence, we have short listed a Swift Sport as a second car, would like to see it on the handling circuit !

You can argue that the early GTI turbo was Japan's answer to the little wizz bangs coming from Renault and Peugeot at the time. They used to embarrass many V8 drivers at the stoplights. And they would do it day after day, not " have a drive then take it home and fix it!"

All I've learned about this car is the disability for woman to perform a handbreak-turn in it, as well as paint between rear lights and body not matching... great review really.

I have a question to Suzuki Swift Sport owners. Is it possibile to make a handbreake turn on the dry tarmac???

this clearly prove that the cheap cheap swift can perform in in any hard spot and tracks. for the price you pay. i have it for a weekend track car and add in a nice turbo.
