Raw footage of a walk through of the 2014 Canyon Trail Yard Haunt. Located in Carol Stream, IL, the display features 30 pneumatic / animatronic props we made as well as numerous motor driven and static props. Winner of the 2012 Haunters Video Award as Best yard Haunt. As well as the 2013 Best Yard Haunt -Vanguard and 2013 - Best Animatronic prop - Vanguard.
Proud member of Chicago Haunt Builds - A group of Halloween enthusiasts in the Chicagoland area.

Always one of my favorite haunts! I love the pumpkin creepers and the big one is amazing! You never disappoint JIm! I don't know how you manage to top your haunt every year but you do! Keep haunting my friend! HFL!

I thoroughly enjoyed watching that. A very impressive yard. I bet the TOTS love your house. I know I would, and I'm the wrong side of 40 by quite a bit lol.

Thanks! Last year we had 1,400 TOTs and it rained. About 3,000 people in total on Halloween Day

+Jim Slanker 1400😨. we're lucky to have 50 or so over here in the UK. although last year we had quite a few more due to a Halloween party down the road who came back a few times to have a look around. Hope you have a great Halloween this year.

This is always one of our favorite haunts to watch each year. It looks like you spend a lot of time creating each one of your props. It would be so neat to see this in person one day.

Wow....what a great haunt. I broke into a sweat just thinking about all of the work that you put into this awesome display. I would love to see this in real life.

i spy a trendmasters frankenstein pumpkin in the beginning behind a pumpkin- i can tell cause of how wide it is- i actually found one of those this year i love this yard your pumpkin display inspired me to do one too

Very impressive. I was looking through my search "2014 Halloween Yard Haunts" and saw this one. Unbelievable pneumatics. Do they break down much? I've thought about adding pneumatics, but it looks complicated. You done an outstanding job. Thanks for sharing.

i wish i could build some but man it takes alot of dedication and time to build, maintain, and store these things..my HOA probably wouldn't allow it since they get picky on our stuff in the yards :( last year they started a fuss with us since being we do the best display in Nampa idaho, they referred to us as a Circus...hint if you're going to do alot of decorations- dont move to a HOA lol
